Beast's POV

Prince Adam stood in the balcony as he saw the servants working to add the finishing touches to the ballroom. The candles on the chandelier were being put up and curtains were opened as they flared out the designs on them. The ballroom was decorated to its extent as the lamps were lit all around the ballroom. The castle was decorated with lights and beautiful pieces of sculpture, as fireworks were fired to greet the oncoming guests.

Mrs. Potts sat beside Prince Adam as they greeted the incoming guests from the balcony. Mrs. Potts smiled as she nodded and welcomed the guests, but Adam seemed nervous as he looked at the entrance. The guests were lined up behind one another as the Royal announcer announced everyone's arrival and let them in the ballroom. Mrs. Potts turned to Adam, "What is it, darling? You seem to be somewhere else?" She nodded at him to answer but, he shook his head as he spoke, "It's nothing. I'm not nervous." He turned towards the entrance and heard the announcer announce, "Welcome, Lady Tremaine and her daughters, Drizella and Anastasia."

Adam saw as a middle aged woman in a black and green gown, bowed to him and her two daughters followed suit. The announcer spoke, "Drizella, the clever one and Anastasia, the beautiful one." Adam smiled lightly at them as he turned to Mrs. Potts who stared at him, "What?" He asked her, as fear crept inside him.

Mrs. Potts shook her head as she smiled at him, "It's that girl from the forest, isn't it?" Adam choked as his widened, "No, no." Mrs. Potts narrowed her eyes at him and he compiled, "Alright, fine. She's the one I'm looking for." Mrs. Potts's expressions turned serious as she asked him, "What is so special about her anyway? She's just a mere country girl, not a princess."

Adam turned to her as he defended, "She's not just a girl, Mrs. Potts. She's special. There's something about her and she's better than any princess I have ever met." He smiled as he thought of her and blush filled his cheeks. He looked down as he avoided Mrs. Potts's gaze. Mrs. Potts chuckled at his shyness and said, "I get it now, darling. She's a special girl." She nodded at him as he looked up and gave him her approval.

Lumière rushed around the ballroom as he ordered the servants to recheck the guest lists and invitations as he wanted the night to be perfect for his Master. He walked towards the hallway as he searched for Cogsworth, only to find him sleeping on a chair at the end of hallway. He huffed out in anger as he shrieked, "Cogsworth, tonight is such an important night for us and you are sleeping here! Get up, fast." He hit the chair with his legs and Mr. Cogsworth woke up startled. He looked around as he tried to make sense of his surroundings and frowned when he looked at Lumière, "Lumière? You are a human again? How is this possible?" Lumière smacked his head in frustration as he shook Mr. Cogsworth by his shoulders, "Wake up, Cogsworth. We have a lot to do tonight." Mr. Cogsworth frowned but, nonetheless stood up from the chair, and walked alongside Lumière towards the ballroom.

They reached the ballroom and Lumière stopped in his tracks as he looked at Plumette. She looked gorgeous in a white ball gown with her hair tied up in a bun. She stood in front of Lumière with a smile lit on her face and she giggled a little as Lumière rushed to her and swept her off the floor and twirled her around in the hair. He placed her back on the ground and kissed her passionately. They adored each other as they pecked each other lightly.

Someone cleared their throat from behind them and Lumière's eyes widened as he realised his Master was standing behind and they both quickly bowed as Lumière apologized, "My apologies, Master." Prince Adam shook his head at him and said, "It's alright, Lumière. Now, let's get this ball started, shall we?" Lumière grinned at his Master's enthusiasm and nodded at him, "Yes, of course."

Lumière walked towards the centre and clapped his hands in the air, signalling the announcer to commence the Royal Ball.

Ella's POV

Ella looked out through the windows of her carriage as she left her house. She saw the road ahead of her and smiled as she realised, she was one step closer to meeting Mister Adam, all thanks to her fairy godmother. She was still bewildered at the fact, that she a mere country girl had a fairy godmother. She smiled at Mr. Goose as he asked, "Are you alright back there, Miss Ella?" She uttered slowly, "Yes, Mr. Goose." He nodded at her as he paced the carriage and fastened their speed.

Ella sat nervously in the carriage as they made their way to the castle. In a moment, they reached the gates of the castle and Mr. Goose stopped the carriage. Ella turned towards the door and Mr. Lizard opened the doors as he placed his hand forward to assist her. She smiled at him as she gently placed her hand in his and took a step down from the carriage. As she placed her feet on the ground, Mr. Lizard let go of her hand and closed the doors of the carriage.

Ella stepped forward as she saw the glowing castle and the fireworks. Her gaze followed the beauty of the castle and the place and dread filled her chest. She nervously spoke, "I'm scared, Mr. Lizard."

Mr. Lizard was startled by her sentence and walked next to her more nervous than her as he asked, "Why?"

Ella smiled nervously at him, "I'm just a girl, not a princess."

"And I'm just a lizard, not a footman." Mr. Lizard replied as he shrugged at her and smiled a little to lessen the tension, "Enjoy while it lasts."

Ella nodded at him as she walked towards the staircase and put her step forward, her mother's words ringed in her head as she climbed the stairs hurriedly, "Have courage and be kind."

She reached the castle and rushed towards the ballroom as she heard the announcer, "Your Majesty, Your Royal Highness, my lords, ladies and gentlemen, distinguished visitors and people of our land, the prince shall now choose his partner for the first dance. Let our ball commence!"

She reached the ballroom and knocked on the door, waiting to open, as she entered the ballroom, she heard voices but, as she neared the balcony, the crowd fell into a silence as every eye in the rom turned towards her and she nervously gulped as she made her way down through the stairs.

She bowed in front of them as she reached the end of the staircase and smiled graciously. She saw someone walk in front of her in her peripheral vision and her smile widened as she saw Mister Adam, standing across her with a smile lit on his face.
