Today was the day. After months of planning, we were finally going to infiltrate the Fallout Project's base. Bullet and NM, or Rifle as he called himself, both reloaded their weapons, adjusted the sights, the whole package. I made sure I was stocked with smoke bombs, and ammo. "We all good to go?" Bullet holstered his last gun. "Let's go, then." I climbed up to the roof, Bullet and NM followed. It was the midst of night, and the moon was shining over us.
Before we could go anywhere, some kind of ninja tackled me, and held a katana to my neck. Bullet and NM were surrounded by other types, as well. I kneed my attacker in the ribs, smashed his head with my own, and sent him off the rooftop. He collided with several trash cans, which did raise some alarm. Two attackers were on me, but I sent my hidden blade into both their necks, and stabbed a third through the chest. There was one final attacker, which Bullet and NM held at gunpoint. "Alright, who the hell sent you? Was it the Fallout Project?" NM asked.
"You may wanna speak before our bullets meet your brain," Bullet would add, as he took a step forward. I would have my hood on, as I pulled out a pistol of my own. The man was silent, until he kneeled down to us. "The Grand Master will know of this meeting. You three will not be safe for much longer." NM went to kill him, but the man vanished in a puff of smoke.
"Well, that was... something else." I said, then Bullet would chime in.
"That it was... Well, let's keep going, then. They won't be bothering us anytime soon." He would turn around, and begin walking toward the main base for the Fallout Project. It was a slow 40 minutes, even by rooftop, to get there. We finally made it to the building, and the sight was... astonishing, in a sense. The security, there was almost none. The search lights were barely lighting up, as they made small circles. "Some base thi--" My oh so amazing insult to the base was interrupted by NM.
"I'll scout ahead! I'll meet you guys inside." And with that, NM was gone before either me or Bullet could stop him. We both looked at each other, and shrugged it off as we made our way inside. The place seemed empty, as we looked around. "I'm gonna look for any information on the Templars. You go do... eh... whatever, I guess. Ransack the place, if you want." I didn't really pay attention to Bullet and NM's part of the mission. After we separated, I went from corridor to corridor, searching for anything that hinted "Templar." It would be a good five more minutes, before I found myself in front of two metal doors. The sign read "Training Grounds," so I guessed that this is where they did all their training, practice, and such. I walked away, and found an open office, just sitting there. I found it suspicious, but I walked in anyway. It was a big room, and it had several filing cabinets. There was an open file on the desk, so I walked over to it, reading the contents of the file once I arrived at the desk. I mouthed to myself several things. "Cross-species breeding... demonic-like spawn... detained Patient X...? How is this relevant?" Suddenly, I felt a gun placed to my spine, and I felt that the worst was coming...
Bullet
Kyle left to look for information about the Templars, while NM and I looked for the Director. The creator of this wretched place. We searched around the first sector of the base, finding nothing. Strange, it all looked abandoned. We came across the fourth sector, skipping the second and third sectors altogether. It all looked abandoned, again, and we would've left, if NM didn't point out the sound of computer monitors coming from a distance away. "Alright, keep your guard up. I don't wanna get ambushed in here." I ordered NM, as he raised his gun up. We slowly crept our way to the source of the noise, and found ourselves at one of the manual doors, the kind that have to be opened by hand rather than automatically. NM looked at me, and I nodded.
I kicked the door down, and aimed my gun. There was someone in a chair, looking at a bunch of screens. "Well not, ain't this a surprise," the person said as they turned around in the chair. I was ready to pull the trigger, after seeing what I saw. It was Agent Texas. "What the hell did you do with the Director, you sack of shit?!" Before Texas could say anything, I pistol-whipped him in the neck, and aimed the gun under his chin. "Where the hell is the Director?!" Texas laughed, as hed looked at me. "You have no idea what's truly been going on here, do you?" He motioned his head, and I turned to look at NM, who had his own gun aimed against my head. "Sorry, brother," he said, as he rendered me unconscious.
