I looked at the girl, as she seemed shocked. I could've ended her, but I chose to spare her life. "If you don't wanna die, I'd suggest following me out of here." She shook her head, "I-I can't. I have to stay."
"But why? What have you got to look forward to here? Nothing! These guys will kill you, when they've used you up to your limits!" I did all I could to convince this girl to come with me, but she shook her head. I sighed, then walked toward the exit.
"They have my sister..." I heard her from the door, and I looked back. "I know what it's like to lose a sister forever. I'm not gonna let that happen to someone else. Get out of here. Go to Queens. Find a place called, 'The Lost Tavern,' and I'll meet you there, with your sister alive. Go." I opened the door, and walked out of that room. Bullet, I'm gonna miss you, and I'll kill your brother for doing this.
There was a small room right next to my holding cell, and I walked in. I saw all my weapons that they confiscated. I pulled out my guns, and holstered them. I grabbed my sword hilts, and placed them at my sides. Finally, I grabbed my gauntlets, and placed them on my wrists, feeling the blades shoot out when I was done. "There. All geared up again."
I made my way down a long corridor, until I saw other holding cells like my own, except much smaller. I looked around the cells, but most of them were empty. The ones that were filled were filled with dead bodies. I thought for a second that these were holding cells for corpses. I heard crying in the distance, and I followed that trail. When I found the source of it, I saw the girl's sister. They were twins, so they look the same. Two guards had her on the ground, both grinning whole she was crying on the floor. They were abusing her, and no one would stop them. "Hey, Maine. What say we do what we please with her? No one's gonna keep us from doing it." The other guy laughed as he nodded. They pulled the girl up by her hair, and pushed her into her cell. They began to take off their armor, as they pulled the girl's top off. Before any more clothing or amor could be removed, I bolted in like a blur, as I slid my hidden blades across the two guards' necks.
"People like you sicken me. I hope your deaths are as slow as possible. Enjoy eternal damnation." I kicked one of them in the head, and I left them both to bleed out. I looked at the torn shirt on the ground, then at the girl. I quickly looked away, as I sighed. I pulled off my robes for a second, then removed my own shirt. I handed it to the girl, looking away as I did so. "Put this on, and get ready to get out of the hellhole." I felt the shirt get taken out of my hand, then I put on my assassin robes. The armor felt cold against my pure skin. I looked at the girl, as she was decent again, and I nodded. "Come on. I'm getting you out of here."
"Wait, who are you? I don't recognize your face," The girl told me. I began to walk out into the corridor. "I'm someone who promised your sister that I'd get you out alive. Now come on." I began to walk into the corridor, and I heard the girl follow behind me. I took a peek inside the next room, then moved away before anyone could see me. I looked at the girl. "You know how to use a gun," I asked her, with a whispered tone. She nodded, and whispered back, "Barely." I shrugged, and handed her one of my pistols. "Just don't shoot me." I looked up, and climbed into the vent above. I held out a hand, and pulled the girl up with me. We quickly crawled through the vent, and we were near the exit. "This is too easy... Go on ahead to the exit. " She bolted it towards the exit, but she tripped an alarm. The doors locked, and she trembled in her place. "Relax. Just relax." He tuned around, and saw a handful of people in armor. NM walked past them all, and looked right at me. "I'm not sure how you managed to get out, but rest assured that I'm gonna make sure that it doesn't happen again." He growled, as he sent a kick to my gut. I caught his leg, and sent a punch to his throat, then a righteous kick to his temple. He fell onto the ground, coughing, and bleeding fro the eye.
