Far too soon it seemed, my alarm shook me away from this dream and back into the reality that was my life. Minhyuk lay sound asleep next to me, body engulfing me, keeping me safe from the intrusion of cold. Our bodies entangled at just the right temperature so as to not make me want to ever leave. But with the rising sun I had to as well. I was sure to sneak out of Minhyuk grasp, trying desperately to not wake him. His eyes fluttered and he let out a disheveled mumble before turning the other way and returning peacefully to sleep. I wanted so badly to curl up in that ball with him and never leave, but breakfast had to be made and the boys had to be faced. So I quietly and sluggishly threw on a pair of sweats and an over-sized sweater and went to begin breakfast.Once the bedroom door had shut I was all to aware of music playing from the studio. It wasn't very loud, but in the morning when everyone was sound asleep, it seemed deafening. I wrapped my hands around myself trying to fight off the cold that Minhyuk had been so kind to chase away before, and made my way to the stairs.
Once I reached the studio I walked over to the gym and placed my ear on the door. Someone was working out, alone, at this time in the morning? Who could possibly be that crazy? I placed my hand on the handle but hadn't quite opened the door when I started hearing the grunts. Whoever it was, they were working out extra hard. It sounded as though they were trying to blow off some steam. I hesitated again, recognizing his grunts. Whoever he was, his sound effects were the same as when the dances became to exhausting. I cracked the door, getting a better listen. Yes, it was no doubt now. Kihyun. He was known for making lots of noise when exercising and that was why he only ever did it alone.
I was quiet, sneaking in to sit in the corner and watch him. He wore a black tank top and a pair of sweats. And sweat is what he was doing. His skin seemed to glisten and shine in the fluorescent light of the gym. He held himself up on a bar and did what looked similar to crunches, lifting his legs up and down. His arms shook and the muscle in his jaw was tensed. I felt myself get excited watching him. Every time he lifted his legs he let out a loud grunt, even borderline yell. I was intrigued, maybe not aroused as much as amazed at watching him work himself so hard. I sat with my knees pulled up to my chest and my head resting on my arms. As he lifted I could just barely see his shoulder blades tense under his tank top, the muscles all over his body rippling and straining. I had never seen so much muscle on Kihyun, he never looked weak or scrawny but I never would have compared him to Hoseok or Hyunwoo. But here he was, covered in sweat and muscle, making the most erotic noises as he lifted himself up.
It didn't take long before he caught me. He let himself fall to the floor and turned to reach for a towel and his water bottle. His eyes grew wide when they met mine and a vibrant red blush crept onto both of our cheeks. He froze, not moving, it was almost as though he stopped breathing as well, but I could still hear him, a heavy breathing that I had grown familiar too in the past few months. I broke the eye contact first, my gaze racing to look at anything else. I didn't want him to read my thoughts, I didn't want him to know the feelings that had already started raging in my stomach. Minhyuk was asleep in my bed at this exact moment, yet here I was, watching Kihyun like lioness watches her prey. Stop it, Tsuki... STOP IT
