I always wanted an older brother to protect me. Never got that. I wanted a twin to get in trouble and switch roles - it would be fun. Never got that. I got a sister.
Now having an older sister has its good and bad points. Good? Fashion tips! You’re a fashionista!
Bad? Moody as fuck!
Now my dear older sister, we have good times and bad times. It's a phase. I like how we will stay up the early hours talking. I like how when you’re relaxed you'll do things with me. You are just the older sister that is expected! You’ll do my hair, my nails. Everything. That’s what I like about you. We've had great times! Flooding the house, loosing me, mainly picking on others. Flooding the house was hilarious!
I don't like how you can go through phases and look at me like I'm worthless and were not blood related. Open your eyes and look what you've got before it’s gone! I don’t think you realise how good it is to have a younger sister – it’s your chance to prove who you are as a woman. Capable, mature, loving. You only get one chance in life – don’t fuck it up! All in all we have VERY FEW close memories. I watch so many people praise you, and expect me to reach your standards. But you are fake! You are not who people think you are – you don’t give a fuck about anyone but yourself! The worst is that the most important thing to me is respect, and you never give it; yet the elders will respect you and not me. If I had to choose between sitting in an A-Level exam or to save my family from a burning house, it’s quite obvious what I would do. But you? You would much rather sit in the exam, while I was to be saving them. Then at the end you would get the credit.
I’ll be honest as well this is what the letter is about, but if I didn’t have to have a sister I wouldn’t! You going to uni is doing me fucking good!
I just hope that now you are a young adult, you start being responsible and care for me more and being a sister.
