Waddup, parents? You guys are the most important people in my life. Nobody can take away the bond we have. You’re not exactly going to be reading this, but Hey!
Father, thank you for everything! You’re the best! I love you. Believe me, I know how lucky I am, I just don't always show it. What daughter can go up to their Pops and just be like 'Yo, I want ---'? This girl. Why? You never say no to me and give me everything I want. I'm spoilt but not greedy over it. Far from it.
I love how I can talk to you. I love how you’re my fashion guru. I love when mother tells me off and expects you to give me a ban. What do you do? Laugh. Your laughing knowing you can't take it seriously - as let's face it you were a troublesome child.
'People don't get us' you always say to me when I'm upset about receiving lectures. You don't discipline me the normal way a parent would. You have your own ways. Scared of a spider? You put a spider in a room and I have to stay there and remove it without screaming. It took me a good three hours but I'm fearless. You told me to never give up. I learnt how to ride a bike in one day - painful? Most definitely. But it made me stronger. I know I can do things when I know you’re by me. You’re inspirational. You’re funny. I love our father-daughter bond. Picking on each other, our sarcastic comments, throwing things at each other. We have great fun!
Mother. You’re just the best! Simple. You’re just the mother anybody wants but I don't realise how fantastic you actually are! Again you let me have anything, you don't make me do things around the house, and you never say no. You’re the nicest person in the world. You never shout at me - and we know I'm a handful! You grounded me once; do you remember how we spent the evening? At the cinemas! You’re beautiful! I know you always tell me what to do and I'll ignore you, then I'll realise what you said is right. It's all about growing up. I hope to be amazing as you when I grow up!
I love y'all so much and Happy Anniversary!
