MEREDITHS POV

My pager woke me up at around 6:30. The sun had just started to rise and you could see it through the curtains. I rubbed my palm against my forehead as it was in pain what did i do last night? It was all a blur. So i decided to take an advil to help the pain which got me to start my day.

The hospital was somewhat quiet, Maggie was somewhere in the building and I wanted to find her, to see if she knew anything or saw me last night. So i decided to send her a text, and she replied in an instant. She told me that she will meet me in the bathroom in about five minutes so now I just had to wait. I scrolled through my social media accounts and checked up on what my friends had been doing. Arizona has recently went and visited Sofia over in New York, she was only there for a few days because that's all she could get off but knowing her, she was making the most of it.
I pushed open the light blue door into the bathroom and there was Maggie.
"Mornin"
"Hey Maggie."
"Soo?"
She gave me a look and hoped up on her tippy toes.
"So what?"
"What happened last night!"
I looked at her blankly with confusion.
"I-I don't remember"
"Cmon mer, how can you not remember?"
"I was gone last night, i'm totally blank - did you hear me come home last night?"
She nodded and came and sat near me.
"I did, I knew you were happy because you we're all jumpy. What happened to you to? Did he make a move or...did you?"
And then it all came running back to me.
Last night, we kissed, outside against his car. It was sweet and slow. Just thinking about brought a small smile to my face.
"Ahhh see! I knew something had happened!"
I let out a little giggle and faced her.
"His so sweet, his, his great"
"Aw Mer, I'm so happy for you!
Are you going to see him today? I think his due in soon"
I totally did not think of that, it's going to be so awkward seeing him again after last night.
"I totally forgot about that! Oh my god! It's going to be so awkward, what am I going to do?"
She grabbed ahold of my hands, looked at me and told me.

NATHANS POV

I was standing in front of the O.R board just staring at it. It was empty, I mean there was a surgery on and guess who was operating.
It was Mer.
I decided, just to give myself something to do and went over to watch how she was going.
I walked into the theatre and offered to sit next to one of the attendings and they nodded. I put my hands on my chin and leaned forward on my knees. Watching her go, she looked so gorgeous all covered in blood which, most people would think is weird. She lifted her head up slightly to check up on everyone up here, giving me a short glance and looked straight down again. Why? I don't know.

"Meredith...Mer...Grey!"
I ran up behind her, catching up to her she was walking away from me. She let out a sigh and slowed down.
"Stop following me!"
I turned my head towards her as we kept walking.
"Excuse me?" "Are you just going to forget about last night?"
She shot me a look and told me to quiet down.
"What? So your denying it?"
She grabbed ahold of my wrist and pulled me straight into the closest supply closet.
"I'm not denying anything!"
She looked up at me, trying to find out what I was thinking. I let out a laugh.
"What? Stop laughing!"
I pulled back her hair from her face and placed it behind her ear. She looked back at me, opening her mouth wanting to say something - but I cut her off.
"I have to go,"
Off went my pager.
"911"
I unlocked the door and left her there, standing alone.
