Introduction:

Cricket excitement? Just in the right place! This short poem reflects the situation when players do face against during a match.

Twenty-two yards are worth,

For the determination you have,

See the challenges coming forth,

Be ready to accept them enclave.

This game lost the boundaries,

And tests the endurance to win,

Feel the shine of the territories,

Be with the greatest team.

Days get over, we get restless,

Emotions don't drive us here,

Five days fought you timeless,

And shed the sweat of fire.

Com'on the field, see you there,

Put the caps on Player!

We're waiting at the stumps,

To fierce you at the dumps!

You aren't my friend or intimate,

To show any mercy for you against;

Beat us and reign your supremacy,

Or end with loss you suppurate.

Twenty-two yards are worth,

For the persuasion you show,

Victories around are far forth

Fight for a name and glow.
