Pokemon AU Part 6

A/N: After her loss to Sylvia, Fuyumi gets ready to face the Manabu Gym Leader. Also...She learns some strange group is doing some suspicious activity is going on in the city.

Fuyumi sighs as she gets ready to face the gym leader.

Fuyumi: I must win. I need to get stronger...For me and my Pokemon. Our hearts are one. I love my Pokemon even if I weak. I won't give up.

Then Fuyumi heard her phone going off.

Fuyumi: Huh? Oh! Hi Nii-chan!

Shiho: Hey Fuyumi. I wanted to see how you were doing?

Fuyumi: Fine! Also. I caught so many new Pokemon! Our team is consist of Oshawott, Pancham, and Mimikyu.

Shiho: I glad to hear that. Do you got any badges yet?

Fuyumi: Only one for now. But I'm getting ready to face the Manabu Gym Leader right now.

Shiho: That's awesome! Your journey is going so fast. I'm proud of you. Also I learn Sylvia already has two and she's going to the next gym.

Fuyumi: Ugh...

Shiho: Gomen. You do realize I have to check up on her too.

Fuyumi: I know...

Shiho: She told me she beat you twice....

Fuyumi: Hmph! Someday I'll beat her!

Shiho: Yes Yes. Good luck with that. I'm routing for the both of you. Also. Manabu City huh. My friend Kanra is the gym leader there. Her specialty is normal type Pokemon. So you shouldn't have too much of a problem beating her as long as you have a fighting type Pokemon as your side.

Fuyumi smirked when she thought of Pancham.

Shiho: Hmmm....

Fuyumi: Onii-chan. What's wrong?

Shiho: Manabu City... Fuyumi have you noticed anything 'peculiar' happening around your surroundings?

Fuyumi: Peculiar? What do you mean?

Shiho: Well. Few days ago, I'm been getting calls from Kanra that some suspicious group of Pokemon thieves been last seen heading into her city. Officer Jenny and her crew are still searching but they can't find any evidence. But however, there been rumors going around that a girl's pokemon about your age had been stolen two days ago. But they never found the culprits or the Pokemon.

Fuyumi was shock to hear all this. What kind of cruel people believe they have the right to take a child's Pokemon.

Shiho: Well. That's all for now. I'm just wanted to say good luck Fuyumi and watch out for any suspicious people.

Fuyumi: Got it Onii-chan. Thanks for the heads up.

Shiho: No probs. Remember. Be careful.

Fuyumi: I will.

The call ends after that.

Fuyumi still felt on edge from what she heard.

Pokemon Thieves?...In this city? Stealing people's pokemon? She didn't want to think about it. For now, she just decided to get next gym badge.
