Inexplicable (Drake)

Chapter 15

Drake's P.O.V

I sat impatiently looking at the clock, waiting for the bell to ring. I had given the class a pop quiz since I was way too distracted to manage teaching a class. It was the last lesson of the day and I was eager to go home.

I had tried calling Sabrina at Break and at Lunchtime but nothing.

I was really worried, she couldn't have just disappeared.

On top of that my boss Trevor was getting really piss-taking lately. Sure I was neglecting my job slightly to spend time with Sabrina but after 14 years working with him I thought he would allow me to have a little break.

Abruptly the bell rang, knocking me out of my thoughts.

"Okay class, pack up and you can leave but leave your sheets behind" I said quickly packing up myself.

When everyone had left I picked up all the sheets and grabbed my bag, making my way out of the door.

When I opened the front doors I saw the technology teacher talking to Mr.Duncan. I tried to make myself unnoticed but apparently that didn't work

"Mr.Graham!" The Australian teacher yelled at me. I stopped in my tracks and turned back plastering a fake smile onto my face. Mr.Duncan had left the scene and I was glad of it.

"Mr.Jurd, how nice to see you" I said slightly through gritted teeth. He obviously didn't notice because of his wide smile as he walked towards me.

"Hey haven't seen you around for a while, I need my funk packet today" he said lowly. Oh did I forget to mention, he's also one of my regular customers.

To anyone else it would have looked like two ordinary guys just having a nice conversation.

I let out a frustrated sigh "I'll get it to you"

"You better, last weeks was late" he rolled his eyes immaturely.

"I'll get it to you tonight, don't worry" I said before walking away to my car.

I unlocked it and threw my briefcase to the passenger seat in annoyance. I quickly took out my phone and called sabrina tapping my finger on the steering wheel.

"Hey" I heard her say quietly. I was so fucking relived I could hear her voice.

"Sabrina, where are you?" Was the first thing that came to mind.

"I'm at the hospital" her voice was as small as before but what would she be doing at the hospital.

"What happened?are you hurt!" I was really panicked and turned on my engine, preparing for my drive to the hospital.

"No,no I'm fine, look be a little quieter someone's sleeping here, I've gotta go so I'll call you later" she told me.

"Fine what hospital are you at, I'll pick you up" there was a long silence.

"Sorry you can't come, I've really gotta go though so bye"
I sighed and replied with a another bye before ending the call.

I was going to go anyway
