Drake's P.O.V
I looked at Sabrina's present in my bag,
I knew it was her birthday today. Shortly after we met I used the school records to find out a tiny bit of information on her.
I decided to give it to her after my lesson with her since break time is straight after.
I wasn't that sure on what to get her but I knew it had to be special.
I let my previous class leave as I eagerly waited for Sabrina to enter.
She walked in while laughing and talking with Jai Brooks. I immediately clenched my fists in anger.
Jai and Beau Brooks were the most frustrating students ever. They weren't exactly bullies but their whole attitude to life annoyed me. Especially that they were twins so double the trouble.
That's why this year I made sure that they were not together in any of my classes. Not only me but pretty much every other teacher, they were always talking about all the bad things the twins committed in the staffroom.
I watched how Sabrina met my gaze as she sat down. She raised any eyebrow as if to say 'is everything all right'
I shook my head at her and took out a bunch of textbooks. I'm never in a real mood to teach whenever she's around, too distracting.
After handing out the books I put on my teacher voice.
"Okay class you have to do questions 1-50 on page 618" I said flicking through the book myself. The entire class groaned.
"That's so long" " whyyy" "so boring"
I heard chorused around the classroom. I stole a glance at Sabrina seeing her already doing her work, 'that's my girl' I thought to myself.
"If you get stuck you can ask people around you, only about the work, not about whatever the hell you guys do on the weekend" I said realising I said 'hell'. They seemed to just brush it off though.I wasn't going to make them work in silence, I'm not that mean of a teacher.
I got on with some marking in hope that I could spend some time with Sabrina after school. I didn't plan anything for her birthday because I wasn't sure if she would spend time with her friends or family.
Halfway through the lesson I felt something hit my head. It was a crumpled piece of paper, I looked up at the class seeing everyone's heads down but I could hear some sniggering. I picked up the paper and unravelled it seeing ' Dickhead' written big and messily on the paper.
I looked back up at the class seeing people look back at Jai as he sat with his arms crossed and a side smirk on his face.
I kept a steady gaze on him and yelled " Who threw this piece of paper" I waved it about in the air. A couple of people shot up from their seating position at my sudden outburst but the class fell silent.
I glanced at Sabrina who was looking around the classroom.
Nobody spoke up
"Okay, since no-one wants to own up, the whole class can stay all week for detentions" I said sternly and in hope that someone would actually own up. who wants to spend extra time in school than they actually have to.
The class broke out into fits of shouts and a large majority were blaming Jai. I smirked at the cold expression on his face as his classmates snitched on him.
"All right everyone calm down, Jai go to the principles office right now and you can explain to him there" I harshly said. With kids like that you have to be intimidating or they never learn.
He sloppily got up and threw his gym bag across his shoulders and strided out the classroom.
"Carry on with your work everyone" I said walking over to my desk.
