Inexplicable (Drake)

Chapter 23

Sabrina's P.O.V

I woke up earlier than Drake feeling his arm draped across me. To be honest I didn't want to move from my spot. I felt as if I belonged in his arms.

It was complete comfort.

I took in his sleeping state and then slipped out of bed.

I did my morning routine and then went back to bed and crawled in next to Drake. He was laying on his front and he sleepily opened his eyes.

"Hey" he breathed out.

"Good morning" I whispered. Our faces had a really close proximity.

"What day is it today?" he asked me.

"It's Wednesday" he let out a groan

"School" he said immaturely and turning so he was laying on his back. I scooted closer to him.

"We can ditch.. Just for a day?" he rose his eyebrow at me and smiled

"Sabrina's become a bad girl aye?" I swatted his stomach and he began laughing.

"I'm gonna call in, you make breakfast" I got out of bed and started searching for my phone.

As soon as I found it I went into the hallway and dialled the schools number.

"Hello this is Melbu High School"

I cleared my throat

"Hi this is Bella Carter, I'm Sabrina Carter's mom and I just wanted to tell you that she won't be able to come into school because she has been very sick and feeling poorly" I faked a mature voice.

"Okay thank you for informing us, try to make sure she keeps up with whatever work she misses" the Office lady said with her high-pitched voice.

"Yes of course, goodbye now" I said quickly and hanging up.

I walked into the kitchen sitting on a stool opposite Drake.

"I made you some toast, remind me to go food shopping" he said biting into his own toast which made a loud crunching noise.

"Okay, what should we do today?" If we were going to ditch then we might as well do something enjoyable to replace the time.
