Clarissa's POV

I walk into the classroom, which was Art, and noticed Claude sitting alone. I try to fight the urge to sit next to him, but since there were no more seats, I had to sit next to him. I sat down and got my sketchbook out. “Hey, Clarissa. Can we talk?", Claude implies, as he reaches for my hand. I move away and start drawing. “Clarissa stop ignoring me, I know you can hear me!", he yells, and we receive glares from others in the room. I sighed and turned to face him. “Look, I know you think I cheated on you, which is a lie, and I caused your aunt to get hurt, and your grandma sent you a letter warning about me, but I apologize. Really", he whispers in my ear, sending shivers down my spine. I shrugged and said, “I need to show you everything that Brooke sent me and the mess YOU caused. Meet me at the entrance of the school after eighth period, Okay?". He nodded slowly and then fastened. I nod back, and get back to drawing. The door opened and in came Brooke with her clique. She was wearing a red sleeveless shirt, blue skirt that went all the way to thighs, and red high heels. She scanned her eyes around the room and stopped. She stared at me angrily, before speaking. “I want a seat and I want it now.", she says, standing there, hand on hips. When nobody responded, she walked over to me and said, “What about you, nerd face? Get out of my reserved seat, b****!". I kept on drawing, until I felt a pain strike through me, beginning at my face. Did this slut just slap me? I looked up angrily and got out of my seat. Since it was almost the end of class, I stand next to my close friend Remy. “Are you okay, C.C.? Tough luck, huh?", she says, and I nod. “She is lucky I didn't throw a punch towards her plastered face", I said, putting my things away. Remy laughs, and says, “You are so funny sometimes, Clarissa. Hey, do you want to hang at my house since your aunt isn't there? I heard, and I felt bad for you." I embraced her and I smiled. “Sure, thanks for supporting me, when I most need it", I say, and she nods. There are always friends who are not really around, but they understand how you feel, because they know you for a long time, like Remy. Remy is my cousin from New York, where I used to live before my grandma died, and she moved here to support me. She is a beautiful tanned skin girl, with curves and long legs. Guys fall for her, and she refuses to date them since she doesn't like them, and has long distance relationship with her boyfriend, Marc. The bell rang and all of us rushed out of class.

Eighth period just ended and I head to meet Remy, however, was stopped by Claude. “Aren't we going to your house?", he says, grasping my hand. I pull my hand away, and say, “Not today, sorry. Maybe tomorrow? I'll text you, Okay?". He nods and says, “Okay". He embraced me quickly and walked away.
