Jasmine's POV 

It's Saturday!!!! Chris wanted me to go on the breakfast date with him. I'm so excited!!!! I can't wait. I've been super happy ever since I woke up and did my hygiene. I've been sitting on the couch reading my book when liyah came running out of my room.

"Mommy is chwrisy coming todawy" 

"Maybe liyah" Jordan walked into the living room and sat down. He's been working for almost a week and he's been loving it. He laid down and started playing in his hair. "Hey jordan"

"Sup" he looked at the Tv and at me. "Whats up between you and chris" 

"What you mean?"

"At school the other day he came over and talked to you and you put the book down but when I talked to you your eyes were still glued to the book."

"I don't remember when that was"

"You must like him" he sat up and stared at me for a minute. 

"N-no I d-dont" I looked down at my book and at liyah. 

"Y-yea you d-do" He pretended to stutter. "Just say it jas you know you like him and you can't say nothing about it."

"Maybe" I said lowly so he couldn't hear me.

"Uh huh I heard you"

"Fine I-I kinda like him but just as a friend" I looked back at my book and folded the page down. 

"You know he gotta whole girlfriend right" 

"Yea but I'm just his friend and she's my bestfriend"

"Yea bestfriend" He said sarcastically "If she find out you talking to her man she gon have the principal to suspend you" He looked at his phone and back at me.

"She wouldn't do-" somebody started to knock on the door. Could it be chris? Or Trey just saying he forgot his keys? I got up and walked to the door. "Who is it"

"Chris" I opened the door and there stood chris in some black pants some jordans and a white t-shirt. "Hey jasmine" He smiled. 

"H-hey chris" I opened the door a little more so he could walk in. When he walked pass me I smelled his cologne. I deeply inhaled it and got used to the smell. I closed the door and walked over to the couch and saw liyah hugging him.

"Wassup chris what you doing here" Jordan said before he sat up on the couch. 

"I came to see jasmine" He looked over at me and smiled again. "We suppose to be going to lunch today" 

"Can I come to Chwris" Liyah said. She looked at me and did her pouty face. "Pwease mommy" 

"Is it okay with chris" Liyah looked at chris and smiled at him. 

"Sure babygirl" chris picked liyah up and put her on his back. I got up and walked to my room and got liyah and I's jackets and walked back to the front. Chris and liyah were at the door waiting on me.  "You ready" 

"Yea I guess" I put my jacket on and chris opened the door. When I walked outside it was kinda chilly so I put liyah's jacket on. We walked downstairs and went to his blue charger. Chris buckled liyah in and got in. When he cranked the car up he pulled out of the parking space and went to the street. "So where we going"

"To the diner down the street" He looked at me and looked back at the road. We sat in silence for a few minutes and his phone rung. He looked at it for a minute and he declined it. "Sorry about that"
