She's Awake

Angela POV 

I looked around and saw I was in a dark room. I could move and everything, but where am I? I got up and walked around. Then a light appeared, and somebody walked out of it. Somebody real familiar She had the same hair as me. 

"Angela Latise Pickett" She said. "I would bend you over my knee right now and beat yo ass" She said. "As your mother I'm so ashamed you" 

"But momma you don't-" She held her hand up. 

"Don't but momma me" She said and touched me. "Angela sweetie when will you stop baby, you got two wonderful kids and two grandchildren baby"

"Momma I can't stop not until.." I looked down and then realized what she said. "Two" 

"Yes baby You got Aliyah, then you have Jordan's unborn baby" She said and smiled. "Baby you gotta stop if you wanna see them everyday" 

"Momma-" 

"Why are you doing them child" 

"Until I see Lil Sean momma"

"Baby what Lil Sean did wasn't your fault" She said and looked at her watch. "Now Angela what you gon do is get into a rehabilitaion place and get yourself clean you hear me" 

"Yes ma'am"  She hugged me and kissed my forehead. 

"Mommy loves you okay, and Lil Sean said be good" 

"Ok momma I love you"  She disappeared with the light. 

"Doctor she's waking up" I heard somebody say. 

"Mrs.Maxwell can you hear me" I heard the doctor say. I nodded my head and looked around. The lady from downstairs was sitting in the chair. she was praying, when she looked up she smiled and looked at the ceiling. The doctor checked everything around me and left. I looked at the lady and saw she was going to say something. 

"Angela" She said and looked at me. "You okay" I nodded my head and looked around.

"What happened" 

"You overdosed" Oh. Right. "And I was about to bring Trey a potato pie and when I opened up the door you were passed out on the floor." 

"Where's trey" She looked around and shook her head. 

"Baby you gotta get clean" She said. 

"My mother said the same thing" 

"Mother" I nodded my head. 

"She told me that I need to get into rehab" I said and looked down. "They pay don't it"

"Some of them but I found one on the other side of town" She said and looked at me. "I'm willing to pay if you want to Angela" I nodded my head and looked her. 

"Thank you" 

"welcome now get you some rest because in the morning we getting you to that rehab center." 

Jasmine's POV

When I woke up, I felt arms around me. I looked behind me and saw Chris there, then I let out a breath that I didn't know I had. I looked at him a longtime before wanting to do something.

"You know you don't have to watch me like that right" I jumped and then laughed at him. He smiled and then got up. "Good morning" 

"Morning" I looked around and got up to get in the shower. As soon as I started to strip I heard my phone ring.
