Chapter 10

JAYSON'S POV.

"Please don't kill me, I promise I'll do all your homework". Isabella pleaded and the boys started laughing.
"Boys! Shut up!" I told them, Isabella looked embarrassed as well as scared, poor girl. I can still hear Trevor snickering behind me but I paid no attention to him instead started talking to Isabella.
"I am sorry to scare you like that, we didn't mean to scare you we just uh...We just came to talk about Nisha".
"What about Nisha?" She started relaxing a bit when she realised we are not here to kill her.
"Actually, I want to know if she's okay, you are her friend she must have told you".
"I am sorry, I don't get it, what are you talking about"?
"Is she really that dumb or she's just acting"? Trevor whispered but only for us to hear.
"Something happened on Friday, she got a phone call then she ran away crying, I want to know what happened to her, please help me. I know it's hard for you to trust me like that but Believe me I really do care for Nisha, it hurts to know that she is hurt. I want to help her, I want to know what's bothering her. Please help me" I pleaded.
Isabella thought for a moment then said,
"Look Jayson, I want to believe you trust me, I also want to help her, whatever she's going through its too much for her you are right it's really heartbreaking to see her like this but it's not my place to tell you that, it's something personal for her and if you really want to help her you need to earn that, you need to do something that will make her come to you and tell you herself.
Whatever's going on for her, she does need someone by her side but at the same time she can't trust anyone like that, you have to earn her trust".
Listening to Isabella talking about Neesh like that breaks my heart. Something terrible happened  with her and I really want to know.
"You are right, it's wrong of me to ask you about her. Don't worry I'll try my best to earn her trust, I want to help her and I will make it possible".
"I am glad that you care about her". She smiled
"I'll need your help though, you and her other friend".
"Ofcourse, anything for Nisha. Me and Vienna are both here to help you win her...I mean win her trust but what are you going to do?" She asked.
"First, I have to break the walls she have built around her, I will make her come out of her shell". I told her

few minutes after thanking Isabella when we were about to go Trevor spoke up,
"Btw, you are still doing our homework right?"
"Shut up Trevor". This time it's wasn't me who said that but Isabella and Trevor actually  shut up and we all laughed at him.

Maybe it's not just Nisha we are going to be friends with, I think we are about to develop a change in our friend circle and I am way too excited for that to happen.

NISHA'S POV.
I woke up by the sound of my alarm, it's time for school which means it's time to face Jayson. After Vinny and Bella left yesterday, I spent most of the time thinking what I am going to say to Jayson and I ended up sleeping, now I don't know what I'll say to him.
I got up from bed and quickly went for a shower, my clothes are ready I am wearing blue jeans and pink tank top with my blue denim jacket.

I walked up to my locker and found Isabella and Vienna already there and again they are in deep discussion about something, as soon as they saw me they stopped and smiled, Bella came forward and hugged me leaving me confused.
"You look great" Bella complimented.
"Thankyou but we are still going for shopping this week". I told her
" yes yes ofcourse". She laughed but suddenly stopped after spotting someone behind me.
I turned around and found Jayson walking towards us.
Oh my God.
What will I say to him? But to my surprise he walked passed me, as if he didn't notice me standing there and went up some girl standing behind me.
"Hey...Monnana... You are in my business class right?" He said to her
That girl looked shocked that Jayson is talking to her, she somehow gained enough confidence to say
"My na..name is Mon..Monica and its Ar..Arts which I sh..Share with you". She stuttered. Damn girl way to go, I rolled my eyes.
Jayson was about to say something to her when I called out to him,
"Jayson".
He turned around to face me and feigned shock.
"Oh Nisha, I didn't see you". He said
"Sure, I need to talk to you".
"Oh not Now Nisha, you see I am busy right now talk to you later huh?"
Although I know he isn't busy, but I still let him go he continued talking to that girl and walked away with her. What an asshole. First he lied that he didn't see me and now he walked away without talking.
Why am I blaming him, it's my mistake the way I reacted on Friday and if he is doing this because of that then its acceptable.
I turned around to face Bella and Vienna, Bella looks shocked whereas Vinny is staring hard at her. What's wrong now.
"Guys I'll see you later okay, Nisha take care bye". Bella said and ran away
I looked at Vienna, she also said bye and ran behind Bella.
Strange.

I am sitting in my first class today and all I can think about is Jayson's behaviour earlier today. Am I too late? Is he not going to talk to me ever again like he used to?
I should not think negative, Maybe he was really busy and he really had to talk to mona Monnana whatever her name was.
He didn't even know her name and the class they share then why he wanted to talk to her! He never talk to anyone!
My thoughts gets disturbed when people started filling in the class, atleast Liam and Trevor are in this class with me, they'll help me get my brain off Jayson.
My thoughts went back to the conversation I had with him earlier and realisation suddenly hits me,

He didn't call me Neesh.

ISABELLA'S POV
I don't understand what happened to Jayson overnight, yesterday only he was dying to help Nisha and now he gave no importance to her. I need to talk to him.
I found him standing in he corner of the hallway,
"Jayson". I called out, he faced me and smiled as if expecting me.
"What the hell was that". I asked him
"Re-"
"Yes Jayson what the hell?" Trevor Intrupted, where did he come from? He was there?
"Gu-"
"Yesterday you said something else to Bella didn't you, what happened?" Vinny said coming out of nowhere.
"List-"
"What's going on here?" Wali said also coming out of God knows where.
"Le-"
"Appanrently, Nisha wanted to talk to Jayson but he didn't talk to her and said he'll talk later and walked of with some girl". Trevor told Wali
"No it-".
"What the hell Jayson!" Wali Yelled.
"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP TALKING AND LET ME EXPLAIN YOU ALL JUST SHUTUP FOR ONCE".
We all stopped talking and looked at Jayson.
"Can I speak now?" He asked us and we nodded.
"Okay, so whatever I did there is all part of my plan, I am still doing everything I can to help Neesh, I know her well and I know the only way I'll be able to break her out of her shell is to frustrate her by not giving attention to her for sometime. She is like that, if I would have gone to talk to her first she would have pushed me away, the more I will run after her the more she'll run away so the only way to bring her close to me is to go away from her and right now if she is willing to talk to me herself is the perfect start to my plan, I'll just won't give her time and she'll get frustrated".
We all listened to him quietly, and slowly let whatever he said to us sink in and realisation hits us and we looked at him sheepishly.
He continued,
"And she is probably going to say sorry for whatever happened on Friday that's why she wants to talk and I won't let her say sorry to me and be done with me. Get it you all?"
And we nodded again.

"Good now go to your classes it's showtime".
