Chapter 23

As soon as we entered his place Jayson called out to his mom,

"Mom we are home!"

"Coming honey". His mom called out from upstairs.

My heart is beating faster, I am so nervous.

"Relax Neesh, Sit". He pointed towards the couch in the living room.

5 minutes later his Mom came down the stairs holding a small suitcase.

"Mom you should've called why did you bring it down?"

"It's okay honey, where is Nisha? I've been dying to meet her".

Jayson pointed his fingers in my directions because she couldn't see me from the stairs and as soon as she saw me a squeal came out of her mouth.

What was that? I thought to myself.

She came running towards me, "Oh My God! Jayson she's nothing like you told me, you said she's beautiful but look at her she's more than beautiful!".

"Mom! You are making her nervous". Jayson said.

I just stood there awkwardly don't know what to say? Should I say thank you? Like I am not that beautiful she's exaggerating I think.

"I am sorry sweety, I just got excited to see you, my son finally brought a girl home, I am so happy to finally meet you, how are you?" She ranted on, I could clearly see how excited she is.

"I am good, how are you"? I asked politely.

"Oh I am fine, Jayson you brought her home so late, I so wanted to talk to her about everything but you brought her the day I am leaving!" She whined, "After all I've got to get to know the girl who caught my Son's heart". She giggled and I blushed.

"MOM! That's exactly why I didn't bring her before". Jayson face palmed clearly embarrassed.

"Oh shutup, Nisha we'll catch up as soon as I'll come back, you both must be tired go rest for some time", she said keeping a hand on my cheek, "I am sending something to eat for you both". She stood up.

"It's alr-"

"No no it's okay I've already prepared it". She cut me off. That's so sweet of her. I like her.

"Mom it's 3 pm I'll drop you off at the airport at 4 pm" Jayson said.

"You don't have to, I'll call a cab" She said.

"No it's okay I will".

"Okay then go get freshen up" She said.

"Cmon Neesh". He said and led me upstairs.

Jayson's house is like normal two story villa but it's much spacious. His room is big with an attach bath and a balcony.

I went to sit on his bed, " I see you keep your room clean, that's not what I expected Mr. Bad boy" I teased him.

"Nah, it's only because you were coming for the first time, you won't get to see it every time you are here". He smirked.

There was a knock at the door, Jayson's mom stood there with tray full of food basically snacks of different kind.

"Thank you so much Mrs. Tomlinson, it's too much".

"Please call me Grace darling, and it's not too much, Jayson will empty it in 5 seconds".She laughed.

"Very funny". Jayson said and I laughed.

After eating we were just lying down next to each other on Jayson's bed,

"It's still 20 minutes left before I leave for airport, are you sure you'll be fine on your own?" Jayson asked after some time.
