Chapter One

They stood still. The violent beating of their hearts thumping through their ears, "where is he?" his voice boomed, throughout the room, maybe even loud enough for the next kingdom to hear, "where is Apollo?" The king of gods looked expectantly at Apollo's sister who merely kept her face straight, refusing to look up at her father's face.

"I don't see how important this matter is for you to call all of... your children here to our presence," Hera quipped, not being very fond of Apollo-- no, the twins as they weren't her children with Zeus.

Zeus ignored her words, instead deciding to repeat his question, "where is he?"

Artemis visibly flinched, having always been intimidated by her father, "I-I don't know-"

"Do not lie to me!" lightening struck, easily killing one of the gaurds, "tell me what you know."

"He's..." she hesitated a bit, knowing that her brother specifically asked her to keep quiet. Her face went pale when her father's scowl got even darker, prompting her to speak her mine, "he's in the human world." she watched as her father's face shifted into a blank one, his tense posture visibly getting more relaxed.

"The human world...?" Artemis could only nod, deciding that it was best to not retaliate, "then, go bring him back."

"Order for... Jeon Jungkook?"  the boy stood, nodding at the man who gave him a look to confirm his identity,  "have a nice day, sir."

"You too," he responded, starting out of the small cafe. Entering his car, he turned slightly to reach for his seatbelt suddenly feeling a small gush of wind even though the car doors were closed. Hearing the buckle click, he straightened out of his seat before addressing his new company, "what are you doing here?"

Seulgi laughed, buckling her own belt, "I could be asking you the same thing."

Jungkook stayed silent for a while, starting the car and driving out of the parking lot, "you couldn't have warned me about your sudden visit?"

"Why would I? You should be used to my comings and goings. Although, I am curious as to why you are here."

"What? I can't travel around Korea?"

She chuckled, "please, we both know you're here because great old Zeus told you to be here. Isn't that right, Zagreus?" He glared at her as best as he could, having to keep his eyes on the road, "guess I'm right. So what is it this time? Rogue griffon? Sirens killing off sailors--"

"Peith- Seulgi, how long are you gonna stay? I'm meeting Jimin in a bit-"

"Ooh, the handsome boy you hang out with? He's here too? I'll come!" she smiled at him, causing Jungkook to groan, "but you should really answer my questions." he decided to keep his mouth shut, hoping to the gods that she'd leave him alone, "I have all day, Mr. Jeon."

Jungkook side-eyed her, thinking it pointless to create a lame excuse by this point. This was Peitho, the literal goddess of seduction and persuasion. He wasn't going to get anywhere with a mere ,'none of your business', "you know the twins right?" he sighed whilst speaking.

"Yup. Apollo and Artemis; one of Zeus' favorites. What about them?"

"Apollo... disappeared into the human world. Well, at least that's what Artemis said."
