Harry's POV

Pregnant.

Pregnant.

Pregnant.

Pregnant.

I stared at her like she was insane.

"S-she's p-pregnant?"

"Yes, and I'm sorry but their is a very slim chance that it is yours..."

My heart shattered. There was a living creature inside of Nicole, but it's father was a monster.

"Is her being like this healthy for the baby?"

"No. It is incredibly dangerous. If she won't eat, sleep, drink, the baby will die."

I looked over at Nicole and she was laying in the bed with her eyes closed.

I slowly turned my head back to face Dr. Boyd.

"What do I do?" I whispered.

"There is really nothing you can do except for wait." She said. "I am so sorry Harry."

I stared at the floor. What am I supposed to do?

Nicole has to stay in the hospital until she wakes up. And I was going to stay here until that day.

I caught myself looking at her stomach.

There's a baby in there. A baby, and it's life is at risk. A baby that was made through rape. A baby that had a monster as a father. A baby who would have to grow up knowing that their father was a complete psycho.

Would I take the father role of this baby? Would Nicole even want to keep the baby?

I sighed not knowing what to do.

I don't think I would be able to stand looking at the child. It's a creation of the man who tortured me all those years.... Yet the other half was created by my beautiful girlfriend.

Would I love this baby?

I was interrupted by my phone ringing.

Aunt Amber

I haven't heard from her in about 3 months!

I answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Harry dear!"

"Hey Aunt Amber."

"Harry you seem upset what's happened since we've left."

"A lot actually..."

"Oh dear, I'm sorry Harry we need to get back to the movie. Love you!"

Before I could answer her back the line went dead.

I looked back over at Nicole and sighed.

"I love you so much Nicole. Why do our lives have to be so messed up. Not much good happens to us, huh?"

I slightly smiled to myself.

"But at least we have each other to get through this. You're waking up. I promise."

I hooked her limp pinky with mine. And I could have, almost, maybe, caught a teeny tiny small smile form on her lips.
