Lily's POV
Where is he!? He said he would be right over. I swear, Daniel will never leave this house again until he is eighteen. I need his help around here and he just decides not to show back up! Thanks a lot Daniel!
I continue to pace back and forth until the phone rings.
"DANIEL! WHERE ARE YO-"
"Miss, please stop shouting. This is Andy Biersack, lead singer of Black Veil Brides. I am sitting at the hospital right now. Is there any way you can get here?" I hear a man with a deep voice say. I hold the phone away to check the number and see that it is Daniel's.
"How did you get this phone?" I ask, suddenly scared.
"Miss, please come to the hospital. I'll explain when you get here. Do you have a ride?"
"Y-yeah. I'll be right there," I say and hang up the phone.
"Luke! You're in charge! I will be back soon! Be careful and no one leaves the house!" I yell up the stairs. I grab my car keys and run to my black mustang. I drive to the hospital and step inside. I walk to the waiting room and see a man wearing all black leather. He had short black hair and is wearing a little bit of black body paint. He had on combat boots and is wearing make up. He notices me and walks over.
"Are you Lily?" He asks.
"Y-yes. Who are you?" I say backing away a little while looking up. Dang, this dude is tall.
"I'm Andy. We spoke on the phone. Please come have a seat. I'll fill you in."
I walk over to the waiting room with Andy and sit next to him. He sits in the chair sideways some so that he is facing me.
"My band mates and I were driving on our way to a venue in town tonight when we saw a car heading towards another. We quickly pulled over so that we were out of the way of impact. The driver of the car that almost got hit swerved the car and it started spinning. The car rolled down a hill into a ditch. Luckily, the car landed back on its wheels but it was in bad shape. I freaked out and ran to the car and told my friends to call an ambulance. I rushed down to the car and saw a girl was driving and a boy was in the passenger seat. I checked their pulses and saw that they were both alive but their heartbeats and breathing were slow. I ripped the door off the drivers side to help the paramedics and when they arrived I had my band mates drive me here. Before I left though, I saw this phone on the ground and you were the last person contacted, so I thought I would call you. The cops came by a few minutes ago and said that the driver that almost hit them was speeding and intoxicated. He unfortunately crashed into a guard railing and passed away." Andy finally finished talking and I felt my face covered in tears.
"Why did you help them? Any other person would have just left them."
"Because I know what it's like to loose someone and I don't want that to happen, especially not to two kids almost the same age as me. They have so much life to live. I couldn't let them die there." Andy stood up and opened his arms. I gladly hugged him back not caring that I just met him. I needed someone to cry with. I felt a soft tear fall onto the top of my head and I knew then that Andy was crying too.
"Mr. Biersack, we have information on the two teenagers." I looked up to Andy and he just nodded.
"This is Lily. I called her down here because she was the last contact in the boy's phone. Please tell her too."
"Absolutely," the nurse said. "I just need a relation."
"I'm the age group coordinator at the foster home. Daniel is one of the kids that lives there. Destiny moved out a couple of days ago on her eighteenth birthday," I said.
"Okay, thank you ma'am. If you both would please follow me," the nurse said while leading us down a hallway. She asked us to step into an office and we did so. There were two chairs placed in front of a desk. Andy took one and I took the other.
"For starters, Mr. Biersack-"
"Please, call me Andy."
"Okay, Andy, thank you for doing what you did at the scene. It made it easier for paramedics to reach the two and get them out quickly." Andy just nodded. I took another shaky breath as we waited to hear what was going on with Daniel and Destiny.
