New Year's Day

Chapter 22

Andy's POV

Destiny and I have been living together for about a month now. Well, I guess two if you count the hospital and me never leaving her side after she was released.

Ever since Destiny gave Daniel back the letter for him to read, she appears to be happier. I think it's because she knows that her friend remembers her. I'm kinda glad about it too. I just hope that things don't mess up between us.

"Goodmorning baby," Destiny whispered as she wrapped her arms around me and kissed my cheek.

"Goodmorning beautiful. What do you want to do today?"

"Hmmmm.... Let's go shopping," Destiny replies.

"Okay," I say smiling. "Breakfast?"

"Sure. I'll help."

"Okay," I replied pecking her lips.

We were beginning to make pancakes when Destiny threw some of the mix at me. Needless to say, I did the same. We chased each other around the kitchen throwing pancake mix at each other until there was none left. I grabbed Destiny by the waist careful not the mess up her ribs and kissed her.

"You know, we can't have pancakes now," she said giggling. I pecked her lips again before nodding.

"I guess you will just have to settle for some eggs and bacon," I said. She giggled again and then went to get a broom. After cleaning up the kitchen, I made us some scrambled eggs and bacon.

After breakfast, we rushed upstairs to get dressed. We were having a competition to see who could get dressed faster. I was rushing but as I was trying to pull on my skinny jeans, I tripped and fell on my face. I heard Destiny laugh from the other room. I rushed to pull on my shirt, brush my teeth, brush my hair, apply deodorant, and slip on my shoes. I run down the stairs to find Destiny sitting on the couch fully dressed.

"Took you long enough," she smirked.

"Wh-how?"

"It appears that that fall really slowed you down."

"I fall for you, my love," I replied while bowing.

"Love you," she said while pecking my lips.

"Love you too beautiful," I replied before walking out of the door. I let Destiny walk out before I locked the door. We got into my car and drove to the mall.

"Where to first?" I asked once we were inside the mall.

"Hmmm... Can I go get my nails done?" Destiny asked.

"Of course beautiful," I said as she pulled me towards the nail salon.

"Can I get a pedicure and a set of acrylics?" Destiny asked the lady at the counter.

"Absolutely," the lady said. "Follow me."

"Destiny, I'm going to go look around, okay? Call me when you are done and I'll come back and pay for you," I said before pecking her lips and leaving. I decided to call Ashley.

"Hello?"

"Hey Ashley!"

"What's up?"

"I need your help. Can you come to the mall?"

"Sure bro. Be there in a few minutes," Ashley said before hanging up.

While I was waiting on Ashley to get here, I decided to go to Hot Topic and buy some new batman merch. I needed a new phone case anyways.

About ten minutes later, I got a phone call from Ashley saying that he was here. I told him to meet me at the Jared's across from Hot Topic and I walked over there.

Ashley met up with me about five minutes later and bro hugged me.

"Dude, why did you want me to meet you at the jewelry store? ..... Wait a minute...... ARE YOU GOING TO PROPOSE!?" Ashley started jumping around like a kid in a candy store. Why didn't I call Jinxx instead?

"Shhhhh you're going to get us kicked out. To answer your question, I was going to look at rings so that way I can put it on hold, so during the last date of our upcoming tour I can pull her onstage and propose. Sound good?" Ashley nodded still smiling like a fool. "Now, can you collect yourself enough to help me choose a ring?" He nodded and we walked over to the engagement rings section.

I found a beautiful silver banded ring with black stones in the shape of a heart and in the center sat a large black diamond. I showed it to Ashley and he nodded in agreement. I handed it to the lady and she said that she would hold it for me. I was talking to Ashley as we left the jewelry store when my phone started ringing. I took it out of my pocket and saw that it was Destiny calling.

"Hey Des-"

"ANDY HELP ME!"

"Oh s***" I yelled as I hung up the phone and took off running towards the nail salon. Destiny wasn't in there but I saw a man carrying her out of the mall with a rag over her mouth. Her body suddenly went limp and he dragged her out. Ashley and I took off after them but lost them in the parking lot.
