At night, with Willa's help, Raven put the communication system outside the tent and in the middle of the camp. It was unity day and Chancellor Jaha was ready to make a speech. The delinquents gathered around the small screen, some of them not really wanting to heard what he had to said. Like Willa.
"My friends." Jaha started. Friends my ass. "This is a historic Unity Day. Every year, we mark the moment our ancestors of the twelve stations joined to form the Ark, but this is the last time we do so while aboard her. Next year, on the ground."
"Right. After we did all the work." Miller grumbled from beside Willa that let out a chuckle. "Someone shut him up."
"You shut up, Miller." Raven said, making Miller roll his eyes. "No one's forcing you to watch."
"For ninety-seven years, we have eked out an existence, hoping that someday our descendants would return to Earth." Jaha continued. Not wanting to hear more of what he had to said, Willa walked away and sat on a log near the fire.
A minute later, Octavia sat down next to her and looked around, like she was trying to see if someone was watching them. "I'm going to Lincoln's cave. I need to see him."
Willa looked at her, like she was crazy. "And here I was thinking that your brother was the stupid one." She said. "Are you crazy? Do you have a death wish or something?"
"Lincoln would never hurt me, Willa."
"Lincoln wouldn't, but his friends are very capable of that." Willa said, trying to put some sense on her head.
"It's going to be okay." Willa shook her head. "Do you trust me or not?" Octavia asked.
"Tavi, is not the fact that I don't trust you. What if something happens?" She said, trying to make her understand. "Bellamy would kill me, if he knew that I knew where you were going."
"He doesn't need to know, because nothing is going to happen." Willa rolled her eyes and Octavia stood up. "Just... If someone asks you, tell them you don't know where I am."
She looked down at her friend waiting for her to give her a sign. "Fine. But if something happens, I'll kill you myself." Octavia gave her a smile and ran away.
As soon as Octavia disappeared, Willa heard Jasper's voice. "Yeah! Monty strikes again!" He shouted with a barrel on his hands. "Call this batch Unity Juice! Who's thirsty?"
Willa quickly stood up, all smiling, with her hands in the air. "Meee!" Jasper laughed and went straight to her.

Away from the group that was almost all drunk and with the seatbelt from his rifle around his neck, Bellamy was eating an apple, looking around attentively. His eyes falling more in Willa than the others and he found himself smiling every time he heard her laugh about Miller jokes.
"Hey." Clarke said, making him diverted his eyes from the girl, that lately was always on his mind. "The comms are still dead. They cut out during the pageant."
"Best Unity Day ever." Clarke laughed.
From a distance, Willa took a sip from her drink and watched as Clarke laughing at something that Bellamy had said, feeling a little jealous.
"Do you really think now is a good time to be having a party?" Clarke asked in a serious tone, obviously worried. "I mean, the Grounder is out there."
