The idea of Handcuffs to me seem completely innapropriate and unnecessary at the moment. As a detective, I never thought I would be wearing one of these, even if it is just for investigational purpose. On the other hand, it could be fun. I am a detective, but I do like to have fun, especially when it comes to Light's girlfriend.
I know It's wrong, but you can't blame me for handcuffs. Sure, it was accidental they they ruin any of Light's future dates, but I tend to think it was for the better. Anyway, so far, we've come to terms with it, and so at the moment I sit at my desk multitasking. I can eat cake, but also get much work done. Maybe more than an average human that is not eating cake.
So far, I've begin to like the handcuffs. They could be quite uncomfortable at times, but I get to ruin their dates, and well, I can be closer to not only Kira, but Light. My suspicion of Light being Kira is high at the moment. Approximately 80%. I would say higher, but right now my evidence is slim. Light's innocence only adds to his suspicion to me. Of course, every one else, being quite oblivious, can't see past his act.
One question, am I always right? Of course. Am I egotistical? With my detective skills, yes. I do not boat though. Only in my head. Do I have possible affection for my suspect? I do. How do I know? I have my body language as evidence, and I'm always right when it comes to evidence. Do we have to sleep together? Of course. He must be in my sight at all times when available. Does Light have affection for me? I have no evidence. Therefore, I do not know.
With love, that concept never came easy to me. I never had great luck with emotion and I highly doubt I'll ever master it. Emotions is not something you can master, acting is though. I can't do that either so I'm out of ideas. You might wonder, if I am uneducated in the art of emotion, then how will I ever show him my affection? You'll see, and very soon. At the time though, I'm not too worried.
Right now, we are working on the case. Something tells me I am getting close. When will I have figured out the case? Only time can tell on that one, my friend. Though I am intelligent, I can not tell how long something like this could possibly take. Besides, patience always works. If your looking at the clock, it will only feel as if time is going slower. Tick by tick, minute by minute. Each hand on a clock moves with the time. That's what It's there for. But sometimes it can be a nuisance.
Speaking of nuisance, Misa Amanae is here again, and will not stop going on about her day. I've chosen to ignore the bee buzzing in my ear. Anyone could tell Light didn't care either, but as I said, oblivious people. I smiled a little as I see him role his eyes, contemplating on why he's her gifriend. She's an annoying creature, so It's understandable in his case.
"Miss Amanae, if you would please, we are trying to work. It's a bit more complicated in it's own ways if we can not work in a peaceful environment. So please." Light silently laughs at the insult hidden within the joke. She sticks her tounge out at me, real mature Misa, real mature.
"You seem to be doing just fine with me talking, Ryuuzaki." She obviously hasn't taken a look at Light's screen and glad she can't see his facial expression. It was a mix of happiness for me trying to get her off his back, but sadness that she wouldn't leave.
"Light has barely moved him mouse because of your nonsense, Amanae. Please respect the disturbance in the atmosphere you are causing." She groans, plead mixed in her voice.
"How come they can talk and I can, and who's talk are you calling nonsense?!" She says in a particular loud and high pitched voice.
"The can talk because they are working on the investigation. Please take seat, Miss Amanae." She looked as if she was about to blow a fuse at the moment.
She was about to protest, but Light decides to interfere our argument. "Misa, please sit down. Sorry, Ryuuzaki." She nods, smiling at Light and he turns back to his moniter.
His mood goes from an intense, annoyed expression to a more relaxed expression. Misa on the other hand, has her hands balled up in fists, her expression as funny as it gets. I muster up a smile.
"It's quite alright, Light." I turn back to my screen myself and we work until it was time for everyone to return to their respected rooms. Matsuda on the other hand, had a servailence job to do. Luckily, we didn't hear another word from Misa.
