Is She Okay?

Normani's POV

We all looked up in unison when we heard footsteps, and it happened to be a nurse just passing by. We waited a few minutes later, and another nurse came up to us.

"How is she?" I whispered, since Lauren was sleeping

"She's awake, you can see her. Just be careful." said the nurse. We woke up Lauren, and found Brooklyn's room. Lauren ran up to her and sat on the side of the bed.

"Lauren?" asked Brooklyn

"I'm here baby girl." said Lauren. I grabbed a chair and dragged it beside Brooklyn's bed.

"How're you feeling, Brook?" I asked

"I'm doing good. But I feel so weak." she replied. I handed her a small bouquet of flowers and put them in a pot.

"We also brought you this." said Dinah. She handed her a small card, and watched her open it. Her expression changed from sad, to happy.

"This is so kind of you ladies. Thank you." I replied.

"BROOKLYN!!!!!" I heard someone's recognizable voice. Everyone's eyes were on the person that entered the room.

"Who is it?" asked Brooklyn, looking through the gaps in between us. It was Demi. She ran over to Brooklyn and they hugged.

"I got here....as fast...as I could." said Demi, in between breaths.

"Well, thanks." said Brooklyn. While I was enjoying the moment, I realized a short person wasn't with us. I continued to look around, and excused myself to find her.

I ran down the halls to find Ally, and the last place I checked was the waiting room. I saw a body wrapped up in a ball, with their knees against their chest. I tapped their shoulder, and it was Ally.With big, red puffy eyes and a red nose.

"What happened, Allycat?" I asked and sat beside her.

"N-N-Nothing." she said and wiped away her tears.

"Ali, you know you can tell me anything." I said and rubbed circles on her back.

"I just....I feel so sad for her.....She's so young, and she has so many things ahead of her. She was this close to getting killed. I just.....I got too emotional." said Ally

"I know what you mean. How about I go treat us for some ice cream?" I asked

"ICE CREAM?!?!?!?" I heard someone shout in my ear and jump on my back. I screamed and fell to the floor.

"Great. Now she's lying on the cold hard ground." said Dinah, in reference to Taylor Swifts' song.

"Did someone say ice cream?" asked Camila. I pushed her off of me, and got back up

"MILA!!!! DONT EVER JUMP ON ME EVER AGAIN!!!!" I said, almost like a command. She hid behind Dinah and whimpered.

"So where's Lauren?" I asked

"She's taking care of Brooks." said Demi.

"Okay." I replied

"Let's go buy some ice cream!!!" said Camila, excitedly.

When we were driving, we made a stop to Taco Bell, and grabbed something to fill our tummies. I texted Lauren, asking if she wanted anything. And got an instant reply in seconds.

L: OOH!!!! YES PLEASEEE!!!!!!!

N: Alright,alright. Calm down now. Does Brooklyn want anything?

L: She said she'll have two soft tacos. Thanks

N: No probs. See ya later.

Hi again. So sorry for the short ass chapter again, I'm trying to multitask. I'm doing my homework and typing this out. Hopefully my mom won't catch me. But, carrying on, thanks to my AMAZINGWONDERFULreaders!!!!!! ROCK ON!!! I'll see you next time.
