Arriving at the studio, I hopped out of the car and ran straight inside to the girls' recording room.

"Hey Brooklyn." said Normani.

"We late?" I asked

"No, but Dinah is." replied Normani. I walked around the building to find the closest vending machine, accidentally bumping into Ally.

"You alright Ally?" I asked.

"No. We're starting vocal warm ups soon, and if Dinah doesn't get here on time, we won't be able to record our new song." said Ally

"Calm down. Here, I'll call her. You go get ready." I said. She thanked me, running off with the others. I plopped down onto a beanbag chair, and dialed Dinah's number. It rang for a bit, and went to voice mail.

Hey! It's Dinah Dawg! Hit me after the beep! *beep*

DINAH JANE HANSEN, YOU HAVE 20 MINUTES TO GET YOUR ASS HERE IN THE STUDIO. I'LL BE COUNTING.

It was surprising. Knowing that I'm such a kind girl, but yelling at people. Anyways, I waited for about 10 minutes, and heard the door burst open. There stood Dinah.

I ran up to her, pushing her into the sound booth and dusted my hands off, handing her a bottle of water, since she looked like she was a dog who just ran 10,000 miles.

I sat back on the beanbag chair, and pulled out my phone.

1,432 new messages

243 missed calls

"Wow" was all could get out of my mouth. I check all 1,432 messages, and most of them we're blocked ID'S, and some of my friends. Sometimes, I never really care about my calls. Prank calls, wrong number. It's always the same.

OMG, YOUR SO LUCKY TO HAVE LAUREN AS YOUR SISTER!!! I'M SO JEALOUS!!!!!!!

Alexie

Hey Brookie, you back yet? text me back please :-(

Sometimes, it's creepy how random people find my number. Just plain creepy. I laid back on the chair and pulled myself out of reality and into my own world. Music, peace, and imagination. I found myself getting bit hungry, so I went to Starbucks.

Sipping on my mocha frappiccino, I also ordered two cookies. Figuring that I should get something for everyone else  I entered back into the café. After paying, I headed back to the studio and saw Lauren pacing back and forth.

"Hey Lolo." I smiled

"Where were you!! I was worried sick!!" said Lauren as she pulled me into a hug.

"Sorry. Well, I brought back some coffee for you guys, just how you like it." I said. They each grabbed their drinks and sipped away at it. I went up to Jason, the sound guy, and rested my free arm on him.

"Oh hey Brooklyn, what can I do for you?" asked Jason

"Here. I brought you something. You look like you could need some caffeine." I said.

"Thanks." he said

"Say. Why don't you put on a pair of headphones, and listen to a small snip?" He asked, tossing me a pair of headphones. Better Together - what I was told-  played as I bobbed my head along to the music. All of there harmonies were in sync, and everything sounded perfect. I gave him some options on what he should fix, and it sounded even better.

"Wow, you've got some skills girl!" said Jason.

"What can I say? I'm awesome!" I said flipping my hair, like a natural I am. Haha. NOT!
