Just A Dream

"Hey, Brooklyn." I heard a recognizable voice. I looked around and saw a tall figure walking towards me. The figure reached their hand out, which I kindly took. The figure smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Thanks, stranger." I awkwardly replied.

"No worries, sweetie." Replied the figure.

"I'm sorry, but do I know you?" I asked

"Of course you do." the figure replied. The figure came out of the shade and revealed themselves. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Is it just me?

Am I dreaming?

I rubbed my eyes to check if they were tricking me, and saw a lady that looked around 5"7 with brown hair and looked EXACTLY like my mom. I chuckled and she embraced me into a warm-loving hug.

"Mom!!! I missed you so much!!!!!." I replied

"I did too, little one. How're you guys? Last time I saw you was a few years ago." Replied my mom. I laughed and told her about my life ever since she left.

"We're good. Lauren's still singing. But I'm not too sure about Chris and Taylor. All I remember was seeing them fight with Lauren." I said and shrugged

"When was that?" Asked my mom

"About 5 years ago." Ireplied.

"I'm sorry honey, but I don't have a lot of time. No matter how much time I'm waisting,I just wanted to say--"

"No.....No.....MOM!!!!!" I shouted and tried to find her.I looked around everywhere, still no sight of her. I fell to the floor and cried my heart out.

*Dream Ends*

I woke up and breathed in a huge gasp of air and felt my face. I looked around my surroundings and started crying.

"Brooklyn!?!? What's wrong?" asked Lauren and ran over to me. She tightly hugged me.

"I.....I.....I saw mom.....In my dream." I replied and wiped away my tears.

"What did she say?" Lauren asked

"I-I I don't know. She....She didn't have enough time, they pulled her to the other side before she could tell me anything." I replied and leaned my head onto her shoulder.

"Where are we?"

"We're back at home. You fell asleep underneath a tree. Cheyenne and Delaney went home, but I invited them over." said Lauren

"C'mon now, everyone's waiting for us." I then washed my face up and fixed my hair. We headed down the stairs and found loud noises coming from the living room.

"TASTE THE FEELING OF BLOOD, SUCKER!!!!!" shouted Dinah

"Heads up, Dinah! Behind you!!" shouted Camila

"MUAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!"

"Now what're you two idiots up to now?" asked Lauren.

"Playing Modern Warfare.Why?" asked Dinah.

"TASTE THE POWER OF CAMILA!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" shouted Camila

"Ooh! Can I join?" I asked

"Sure. Grab yourself a controller and join in!" said Dinah

"Not you too, Brooks!" exclaimed Lauren.

I ran over to the gaming drawer and grabbed my purple camo controller. After I joined in, we started another game, which was Camila and Dinah against me.

"I'm gonna kill you guys in a snap!" I said, emphasizing the 'kill'.

Lauren's POV

I rolled my eyes and went into the backyard. When I got outside, I saw Ally and Normani in the pool, floating.

"Oh, hey Lauren!" said Normani.

"Hey guys! How ya doing?" I asked

"Good. Come join us!" shouted Ally

"I'm okay. Plus, Cheyenne and Delaney are coming over, and if I don't answer the door then they ain't coming." I mentioned to them.

"Why can't one of those lazy asses do it?" asked Normani.

"They're playing modern warfare, and you do not wanna even THINK about bothering Brooklyn when she's in 'the zone' " I replied. The two girls laughed and floated around the pool multiple times.

Hearing the sound of our door bell, I quickly ran to grab it and already saw Brooklyn hugging the two of them.

"Come on in, guys!" Said Brooklyn.

"C'mon Chey! I've already gotten a controller saved for you!" Shouted Brooklyn as the two teens dashed down the halls into the living room.

Alrighty!!! Hey warriors!!!! I'm SUPER sorry that I haven't been posting up chapters lately. Been busy this entire summer. Unexpected events. Any who, hopefully you guys enjoyed this long chapter (well, kinda) and I sincerely apologize for the updating. I love you guys!!!!!

P.S Since I've been lacking my schedule that I've been talking about from previous chapters ago, I found out that I'm gonna now end that schedule and just stick to doing updates. So yeah. And if I ever mention that I'm gonna update, the chapters are 100% likely to be REAAAALLLYYYY fucking short. So imma see you guys in the next chapter!!!!
