Normani's POV

L: Hey Mani. Mind coming over for a bit?

N: Sure. What's the matter?

L: I'll tell you later. Just, hurry.

I grabbed my car keys and a jacket, rushing to Laurens house. After I got inside, I saw 3 more other girls that completed our band of harmony.

"So....whats happening, Lauren?" I asked and sat beside Ally.

"Its about Brooklyn." Said Lauren.

Brooklyn's POV

As my friends and I walked around the school grounds, finding a big group of kids surrounding something. We walked over the mob and found a guy, that looked like was in 10th grade, having punches and kick thrown at him.

I threw my bag to the side and kicked all three assholes who were hurting him, in the dick. They ran away in pain, which left me,the guy, and a huge crowd of kids.

"What the fuck are you guys looking at? Don't you ever care about anyone else besides yourself? Cause it looks like so. None of you were brave enough to stand up for him. Instead, you just stood there like a bunch of pusses and watched for the fun of it. Have some respect." I snarled and helped the poor guy up.

"Are you okay?" I softly asked.

"Yeah. Thanks." Said the guy. I wiped away a few blood stains off his face and looked into his eyes. They were a perfect shade of brown. I kept staring at him until he put his hand on mine.

"What's your name?" He asked in a sweet voice.

"B-Brooklyn." I muttered.

"I'm Matthew. You can call me Matt for short." He replied. A cold wind ran through my body, causing me to shiver. He took off his beanie and placed it on my head.

"I don't want you to get cold." Said Matt. I smiled at him and blushed. We exchanged numbers and ran off to our friends.

All three girl started 'oohing' and kept on asking me questions about Matt.

"He looks right for you. You guys should go out together sometime." Said Michelle. I slapped her and ran off to class.

=After school=

While I was packing my things into my bag, I felt someone touch shoulder.

"Oh. H-hey Matt." I said and closed my locker.

"Well, I got these for you. F-for saving me." Sad Matt. I took the bouquet of flowers out of his hands and kissed his cheek.

"Their beautiful. Thanks." I said and ran off with my friends.

Matthew's POV

I felt her kiss my cheek, and watched her run off with her friends. I heard my friends calling me, so I turned around.

"Hey Matt. Looks. Like that Brooklyn girl has taken a linking to ya?!" Exclaimed my brother, Louis.

I sighed and rubbed my cheek, feeling the spot were her lips were on contact with my skin. When I got home, I was greeted by my mom and dad.

"Hey Matthew. Where's your brother?" Asked my dad.

"He went with his friends to Daniel's." I said, heading upstairs. I placed my bag on the side of my bed and grabbed out my homework.

*buzz buzz*

M: Hello?

B: H-hey Matthew. I was wondering if you'd wanna hang out on S-Saturday?

M: Su-sure.

B: Okay. Meet me at the park at 3. Bye!!

M: B-bye Brooks.

I sighed and started on my homework.

Camila's POV

As I was walking by Brooklyn's bedroom, I hears her talking to someone.

"H-hey Matthew. I was wondering if you'd wanna hang out on S-Saturday?

Okay. Meet me at the park at 3. Bye!!"

I quickly ran downstairs and fell on my way down.

"You alright Chee Chee?" Asked Dinah

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. This is important!!!" I shouted.

"What is it, Camz?" Asked Lauren.

"Brooklyn. She was talking to someone. I think it was a boy. Matthew. And something about meeting at the park at 3." I said and crossed my arms. I stood out of the way and saw Lauren stomping up the stairs.

Brooklyn's POV

I put my phone onto my side table and plopped down onto my bed and started on my homework.

Until by bedroom door slammed open.

"BROOKLYN. WHO THE FUCK IS THIS MATTHEW YOU WERE TALKING TO?!?!?" shouted Lauren

"What?!?! Who told you???!!?!" I asked.

"WHO. IS. HE." Exclaimed Lauren.

"He's just a friend of mine!!!" I shouted back at her. Dinah put a hand on her shoulder and turned her around.

I groaned in annoyance and continued to do my homework until they finished with their small ' meeting'

"*sigh* Brooklyn. Okay. Let me just tell you this. I know you want to explore the world, and I've been holding you back. But now, I'm letting you go now." Said Lauren

"What?" I asked and bit the top of my pencil.

"I'm no longer holding you back anymore. You can be free." Said Lauren and gave me a sad smile

I got up and stood in front of her. I wiped away her tears and tightly hugged her.

"Thank you." I said and continued back to my homework and listened to music on my phone.

Lauren's POV

"Holy shit. That was so damn hard!!!!" I said and groaned and laid down on the couch. I rubbed my face, and felt someone lie down on me. I looked down at her and saw her smiling.
