Slowly Recovering

*2 Weeks Later*

Brooklyn's POV

"So, Brooklyn. How're you feeling?" asked Dr.Drew

"I'm feeling alright. When will I be able to go?" I asked

"I was just about to tell you that you're leaving today!" said Dr.Drew

"Great! I'll go and change into my clothes." I said.

"W-w-wait. Slow down! We need to give you a few things." said Dr.Drew

"O-okay....Can't I change first?" I asked and pointed to the washroom.

"Sure thing. When your done, meet me at the front desk." said Dr.Drew. He left the room, and I skipped over to the washroom. I changed into my clothes and looked at myself in the mirror. I smiled and walked my way to the front desk. When I got there, I could already see the girls getting the things that Dr.Drew had mentioned and my friends sitting down on the chairs.

Once we all made contact, everyone ran to me. I earned hugs and complements and did nothing but stand there and smile like a total idiot.

"Are you okay?" I heard Kira ask.

"Are you alive?" asked Sofia

"I'm fine, guys. Where's Michelle?" I asked

"She should be coming, about no--" said Kira before getting cut off. I felt myself being pushed to the ground and I slowly opened my eyes.

"BROOKLYN!!! ARE YOU OKAY? DID YOU BREAK A BONE? HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT ME? WHY AREN'T YOU TALKING?" she said all in one.

"Michelle! Michelle! Chill out with the questions! I'm fine, and I can talk. Of course I wouldn't forget about you! Your my best friend!!!!" I said stood up.

I felt someone tap my shoulder and looked up to see Lauren. I noticed a yellow bottle in her hand that had my name imprinted on the tag.

"Here. The doctor said that you need to take this twice a week, so the bruises and scars will heal faster. Also if your body starts aching." said Lauren. I smiled and hugged her. We hopped into her car, and we returned back to the loft, faster than I expected.

"Ah. Feels so good to finally be back at home!!!" I said and kissed the door. I opened it and found a bunch of streamers,balloons, and decoration all over the house. I looked up and saw a bunch of my friends,family members, and a few famous people, coming down the stairs.

"WELCOME HOME BROOKLYN!!!!!" they all shouted in unison. I hugged them all one by one and walked into the living room. I found a bunch of presents taking over the living room, all for me. I went outside to the balcony and was greeted by the beautiful smell of steak. I smiled and went to the back of the house, and grabbed a ball off of its rack, and shot a few hoops

Lauren's POV

I searched all around the house for Brooklyn, and asked a few people. Dodging questions about music.

"Hey, have you seen Brooklyn?" I asked Dinah

"I think she's outside. I saw her head out there." said Dinah, pointing to the sliding glass doors.

"Thanks Dinah!!" I shouted and made my way to the door. I went outside and saw Brooklyn shooting a few hoops. The ball bounced my way, so I caught it. When she turned around, we stared at each other.

"Hey." I said and bounced the ball a few times

"Hi." she replied

"How're you holding up?" I asked

"I'm doing fine, just catching up on some sport." replied Brooklyn. She grabbed the basketball out of my hands and shot through the hoop a few times.

"Do you want to stay home for a bit before you go to school?" I asked

"Nah. I should be fine." she replied. I grabbed her ball and tried to shoot, but missed.

"You suck." she said and scored through the hoop without a problem

"Well, not my fault that I'm not on every single sports team at school!!!" I said

"So, why're you here?" she asked, opening her water bottle

"I was gonna ask you the same thing." I replied

"Seriously." she replied with sass.

"Why aren't you inside with everyone else? This party is all for you! Even Ellen DeGeneres bothered to show up!!!" I replied, and heard the door slide open.

"You guys okay?" asked Ariana.

"Yes. Just talking over a few things." I said and smiled at her.

"Well, I can take over. Your friend, Vero, I think, is waiting for you." said Ariana

"You sure? I can talk to Vero any time." I said and glared back at Brooklyn. She scoffed and continued to play basketball. I sighed and walked by Ariana.

"Don't get her too mad, or ask to many annoying questions about her life, alright?" I whispered into Ariana's ear. She nodded and walked over to Brooklyn with confidence.
