Brooklyn's POV
Once we made it to the park, I quickly ran for the swings. I felt a strange presence behind me, so I slowly looked over my shoulder and saw a person in a black hoodie. I started screamed when they put a hand over my mouth. I stopped screaming and smelt perfume. The same perfume I've smelled since I was 12. It was my friend Delaney.
"Holy shit!" I said and hugged the shit outta her.
"Wow Brooklyn, you changed. Like....ALOT!!!!" said Delaney
"What? No I didn't." I replied and crossed my arms
"Hell yeah you did. When we were 11, you were so innocent and you'd never swear." said Delaney
"Huh, I guess I did change." I replied and bear hugged her once again.
"I missed you though" said Delaney
"I did too." I replied. We both hopped onto the swings and talked about our past.
Lauren's POV
I sat on the closest bench and sat down. I looked beside noticed someone else sitting really close beside me, snd covered their face when they caught me staring. I shrugged it off and played Temple Run on my phone. I looked beside me and saw the person even closer than before.
"Uh....." I said and stared at the figure.
Wait. I know this choice of clothing, colors of their nails. It's all coming back to me now!!!!
"Chey!!!!" I said and hugged her
"Took you a while, girl." said Cheyenne.
"I missed you like crazy!!!" I exclaimed.
"I did too, Lauren" replied Cheyenne."So, how was the tour?"
"Which one? Oh, the Neon Lights Tour?" I asked
"Yep." replied Cheyenne
"It was kinda like the usual ones, but everyone was happy, and cheery, so it was pretty fun for all of us I guess." I replied. She nodded and stared at my wrists.
"You stopped." said Cheyenne and held my hands in her cold palms.
"Yeah, I guess I did." I replied and took a look at her wrists. I saw small scars on her wrist that were still quite visible, and I ended up hugging her. I felt tears rolling down my back, and the sound of sobbing.
"Lauren, I...I can't stop myself." said Cheyenne.
"I know you can. Just try to find your happy place!! Its not that hard." I replied
"I'm trying! It never works." replied Cheyenne. I wiped her tears off her face and held her hands.
"Look at me Chey. Find what makes you happy! Expose your true feelings to the world. But not in the wrong way. Don't be so tough on yourself. Stop carrying that bag of stress on your back, all its doing is telling you to keep cutting. Its an addiction, but you have to get rid of it some how. Okay?" I said and saw her eyes water again.
"Okay then,Lauren. I'm only trusting you on this once, okay? once." replied Chey
"That's the Cheyenne that I know and love." I exclaimed.
---------Hallow. I'm super sorry for short ass chapters AGAIN. Apparently, I kinda sprained my ankle, and it hurts like hell, but anyways, I'm out of ideas SOOOO MUCHHI NEED YOUR GUYS HELPS!!!!
Besides that, I'd like to talk about something. Especially to my friend, Cheyenne. She's gone through some rough things, and I understand how she feels, cause no one deserves to feel down all the time. In my perspective, i think you should take all that weight of stress, depression, insecurity, and throw it in the trash. Then, walk away like a boss ass bitch. No, don't do that. But, you should take my words, cause you never know what's gonna happen. But that paragraph is for all of those insecure people. Anyways, I really love you guys sooooo much.
like always, Stay Strong, Warriors
