[ September 20th ]
I looked into her eyes and rose slowly. When I stood all the way up, she grinned wider and gave a look to one of the other girls in the bathroom. The girl nodded and headed over to me. I started to back away from her. This girl was at least a head taller than me, probably like 5'10 or something. And little old me (standing at a short 5 foot) was a little intimidated.
Ok. I lied. I'm scared as hell right now. I kept backing up and noticed that the other 2 girls were headed to me too. And the girl with the ridiculously short skirt stood back and watched. Then I hit the wall. I had no where to run. I felt the temperature in my body go down a couple. The air I was breathing felt like it was turning into frost in my throat (which is not a good feeling XP) . The girls crowded in front of me, creating a half circle. I gulped and noticed that the air I was breathing did turn into frost in my mouth. My tongue was covered with it. The group of girls took a step closer. My eyes started to go a little twitchy. It always did that when I was nervous.
The girl walked over and pushed past the other girls. She looked down at me and smiled a little. "Hello Lizzie darling." she said with a fake southern accent. I glared at her. How dare she call me darling. The she-devil of the school. Jennifer Jewel. Ugh I hate her so much.
She saw my glare and frowned. "Shame. Don't scrunch up your face like that. It ruins your good looks" Jennifer smiled "or what ever you call that face of yours". I turned beat red
She laughed. "Ok. Enough of this. You know what I want." she held out her hand. And I do. Its homework. For some reason, a couple of weeks ago she found me and told me to start doing her homework. I don't know why. Because Im mostly quiet in school? Because I don't like to talk to people I don't know? (which is everyone) Or maybe its because I look smart...? Nah can't be that. Anyway, since I don't have the guts to tell her no....or the fighting power to get away from her posse, I do her homework.
She sighed. "Im waiting" she said, annoyance a clear emotion on her face. I reached down to my bag quickly and opened it. I looked though all the papers and junk in it. Then I remembered. I didn't do any homework last night. Not mine and especially not hers. I glanced up at her and cleared my throat nervously. She raised her eyebrow at me. "Well? I'm waiting."
"I-I don't h-have it" I said, barely able to get past my chilled throat. That's one of the reasons why being an ice faery sucked. Our bodies are different from humans in only a few ways. Like our normal body temp is around 50 degrees and a humans is around 98 degrees. We are almost made of ice. Cold? I know.
I must have looked a little dazed or not paying attention to her enough because pushed snapped her fingers in front of my face, bringing me back to this awful situation I'm in. She was looking at me with an annoyed face.
"What did you say?" she said, all the nice-ness that was here before gone as if it were wiped away by a storm. Her eyes were narrowed and I felt a little shiver go up my spine.
"I-I d-d-don't have it" I said. Then as quickly as her anger flashed, it disappeared. With her face blank, she backed up and stood outside the little circle again. She then looked at the tall girl and nodded. The girl smiled and looked down at me. My eyes got wide as she walked even closer to me. Oh gawd.
Jennifer turned to walk away when the girl grabbed the front of my shirt. I opened my mouth to yell at her. I tried to push her hands away when the girl raised her fist and slammed it into my face. Pain exploded in my face. It hurt like hell. All I gotta say. I cried out a little and slid down the wall to the ground
Jennifer (that b-word) just continued to walk to the door. Then turned back to look at me. She looked at the tall girl again and the 3 bully's backed off.
"Next time you don't do it, it's gonna be worse than a little punch in the face" she said, smiling. Then walked out the door with the others following. Leaving me there. Alone and feeling just terrible.
