"hayley relax, haven't you ever been to a mall before?"
"well i have been to a few, but not this one!"
this was just about the biggest malls i have ever been to, and she wasn't going to take advantage of it. paige was going to buy hayley makeup from ulta, which she didn't really want but it's the thought that counts. paige said 'it's best to start off early'.
i was super excited to spend some time with paige! after all, she's pretty awesome. it was so overwhelming, but i loved it! we weren't even inside yet, and i wanted to live there forever! the mall was a horseshoe shape-y thingy with a huge fountain right in the middle. there was a line of food trucks out front that smelled heavenly. the lighting was absolutely perfect for a picture, so i couldn't take advantage of this moment and not take a pic! i also really needed to update my instagram, so i asked paige to take a picture by the fountain. i sat down on the ledge and felt the cold pavement on my bare legs. i put my leg bent beside me and laid my arm on my knee.
'Snap'
"woah hay, come here and see!"
"wow that looks super good make sure to send it to me!"
"oh shoot, its already 11:00 and we have to be back at 3:00!"
"are you kidding? paige, that's 4 hours!"
"the more time the merrier! come on, i really want a burger."

Author note: hey! Hope your liking the story so far! I decided that I want to switch to regular punctuation. I know it was technically grammatically incorrect, but I liked the format for a while. The first hour of our outing was eating food and and trying Starbucks off the secret menu. Paige was really craving a In-N-Out Burger, and I couldn't back down from that opportunity. For the both of us, she ordered a family sized combo pack! Not only does that girl like makeup, but she has a slight food obsession. I do admit I can't really contain myself when I get to indulge in an meat bundle with melted cheese and ketchup topped with bread concoction. To top it all off, Paige taught me a lesson on how to get the best things off of the Starbucks secret menu. It seemed like she tried every single one of the drinks before, and I was compleatly clueless. Everything seemed so good! But being the bubbly person I am, I settled with a cotton candy frappachino.
"Lesson 1: never EVER go out shopping on an empty stomach." Muffled Paige. She had her mouth in s pile of whipped cream. "Are you ready to spend hundreds of dollars?"
"Ummmm......... that's a lot of money. I don't want to drain you financially."
"Hay, don't worry about it. As long as your with Paige, money doesn't matter!"
"Really?"
"Yes! Really! First I was thinking we could stop at Ulta to test out all of the new pallets. Then we can go into........"
Her words faded out into a mumble.
'Hayley, no one you know is here right now, so why do you think you see someone you know?' I thought. I swear I saw.........oh nevermind. But I would recognize that red-brown hair in a bow anywhere. Was that seriously.........
