" OMG that was HILARIOUS!!!"
"I know! Did you see that cashiers face?"
"Paige, let's never do that again."
"But why?"
"Because we probably looked like we just robbed the mall!!!"
We each had at least 15 bags per arm. I was so worried that we would overspend this whole entire time. We probably did, but Paige didn't seem to care, so I stopped acting like an overprotective mother. It was the least I could do.
"Oh hay it's already almost time to go......."
"Awwwwww that was so much fun!"
"Hayley Noel LeBlanc, did you seriously think we're going to leave now? I'm texting your mom and asking if we can stay longer."
"Really?"
"Yup." Paige already was typing away.
"In that case, I need to go get water super quick. I'll see you in a second."
"Mmmhmmm."
The water fountains were all the way across the mall. They felt super far away, but it was probably me being lazy. I scoped out the area so me and Paige could look over here, too. There was a Urban Outfitters, American Eagle, Claire's, nothing I was super crazy about. Looking at all the stores made walking to the water fountain easy. I didn't even realize I was walking. After I got a quick sip of water and fixed my hair in the mirror, I started heading back. I figured I should probably charge my phone. There was a charging station nearby and my phone was on 12%. I plugged my phone in and started to look through Snapchat. I went to go and send a funny picture to mommy to tell her that I'm ok with staying a while more. It was on the front facing camera. I turned the camera around because I didn't want to send her a front facing (I may have got my makeup done.). I saw someone familiar in the picture. It was Piper again! I wanted to quickly say hello but then I realized something. She wasn't with her mom at all. She was with all of our friends. My best friends, that I knew too. It was everyone we were both friends with, and they all knew us. She lied to me. Piper actually lied to me. I don't get it. She's been saying how much she's wanted to hang out with me, and she didn't even invite me to that friend gathering or whatever it is.
I heard them across the room.
"Say original and one and only besties!!!"
They snapped a picture. They all looked so happy. I wasn't with them.
Everything went silent.
I unplugged my phone and ran back to Paige. I did t want them to see me. My sneakers were slapping onto the ground and my hair was bouncing on my shoulders. I didn't want to cry. It would look ridiculous in front of all these people.
"Hey! Your mom said we could stay longer!"
I dint want to stay longer. I just wanted to leave.
"Paige, I don't want to stay longer. I want to go home please."
"Why hay? We were having so much fun! Come on don't be a party pooper."
"I said I wanted to leave."
"Hayley, what's up with you? Live a little!"
"Paige please listen."
"Come one Hayley were not leaving."
"Paige.........."
I was getting angry. I was about to burst.
"Come on hay let's go."
"Paige I said I want to go. NOW."
"No! Hayley were not leaving I'm making you stay."
My face was getting red. She doesn't listen. My checks were getting hot I didn't know if I wanted to cry or scream or; I didn't know anymore.
"Hayley come with me NOW. We are NOT leaving."
"I said I WANTED TO LEAVE!"
I bursted.

Everyone was silent. All looking at me. My face was getting red hot. I wasn't angry anymore. I was embarrassed.
Don't cry Hayley don't cry.
I repeated that over and over again in my head.
I couldn't help my self.
I started to sob.
