"Sorry about the whole 'stranger' thing It's just really hard to talk through a bush."

"Yeah, totally agree!"

that was the first time I've smiled in a while...it felt good.

"So anyway, why are you here," I asked "you did say you would tell me."

"Well, my mom's an artist. She does these HUGE props for Hollywood set design and stuff. It's pretty cool. Anyway, we're always moving to different places, so we've been staying at this hotel for a really long time. I just like coming out here to think about stuff."

"Yeah, that's why I'm here. To think."

"Here, let's sit down. I've got plenty of crackers to go around. Anyway, what do you think about?"

I could tell her a whole list of all the things inside my head; Annie, me, my problems, how i feel like i'm constantly forgotten...that i'm invisible.

"It's my older sister Annie. I feel like I'm her shadow. I mean, everything is focused on her; but nothing is focused on me"
