Ravine

I woke up next to Asher. He had his hands around my body,making me feel safe. Last night i didnt have a flashback and i slept surprisingly comfy. He was breathing hard as i turned over to face him. I caressed his face moving his hair away. I reached behind me and tried to feel for my phone. I finally reached it and looked at the time 10:00am. Asher said he was gonna get up early to help me with my haunting situation. I didnt want him to but he insisted. The last thing i want is for him to be involved in this lifestyle. His kisses though have stopped my moodswings. Just like how an inhaler stops an asthma attack. Its like a cure. Sorta. I shook him awake. I was eager to get this over with and done. He fluttered his eyes for a moment then finally open them.

"Hey""Why did you wake me up. I thought there was something wrong"he said running his fingers through his hair. I pecked him on his lips.

"Im sorry. But you said we had to get up early to help me"i said softly.

He sighed and gave me a weak smile. "Right. " he got up and went into the shower. Thankfully he gave me one of his t shirts to wear and put my bloody clothes in the washing machine. I thought about last night and i still didnt understand it. I dont wanna go home. Who knows what waiting for me there. I laid back on ashers pillow inhailing his scent which gave me chills. My eyes slowly drifted shut.

~flashback~

"Mom wheres dad"i asked as my mom increased the speed of the car. "Why wasnt he at my performance."i asked. Just 30 minutes ago i was on stage acting. It was 9 something and we were driving in the dark.

"SHUT UP YOU LITTLE GREMBLIN. SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LEAVE ME ALONE DAMMIT. YOUR LUCKY YOU DONT HAVE TO WALK HOME."she said slurring some of her words. I could smell the liquor on her breath. She unlocked the door on my side and opened it. I started screaming. I grabbed the only thing i could:the steering wheel. We were swerving all over the road. She started undoing my seat belt as i started to defend myself by hitting her hands with my free arm. I kicked scratched hit and bit her. She started screaming. My leg was beginning to hang out the car. I looked out the windsheld and saw no road. It was a ravine. We weren't even in the same part of town. I was so angry i steered the car in the direct path of the ravine. My mother was still trying to push me out of the car. I suddenly let go,flying out of the car hitting every part of my body including my head. When i finally stopped rolling i looked up to see the car flying off the edge and into the ravine. My mother had jumped out as well but was hanging on the edge. She looked at me.

"You tried to kill me" she said.

"You little UNGRATEFUL BITCH."she was starting to pull herself up. I moved my arm and grabbed a rock. I threw it and it hit her in the head. Causing her to let go and fall into the ravine. Her scream echoed until i heard a slight thud.

I started screaming. I grabbed Asher's pillow and tried to use it to muffle my scream.

"I killed my mom...no wonder. He spirit died full of anger".
