After what seemed like hours I was finally done getting ready. I applied a thin line of black eyeliner on my top lid along with light gray eyeshadow that made my brown eyes pop, along with a few coats of mascara and some blush I left my makeup at that. My brown hair was left in waves from the curls that had fallen out from earlier today.
I decided on wearing a plain white dress that cut down a few inches above my butt so the whole back was open, it came to my mid thigh which I thought was appropriate. I'm still young and should dress as such.
I could hear the voices getting louder as more people entered the apartment next door, it was nearly ten so I thought I should go, that would give me three hours to socialize.
I added some black heels which matched the black outlining of the dress. I had already told myself I would not have more then one drink, no matter what it was or how many times someone handed me a drink, I would only have one and turn the rest down. I had no work tomorrow but I didn't need to be hungover.
I quietly snuck out of the apartment and made my way next door where it was already flooded with people, mainly teenagers. Only this year have I been legally aloud to drink and I know it shouldn't but it bothers me that all these underaged teens will be drinking.
I'm so uptight, damn I really need to just let go and have some fun.
"Hey Charlie! Glad you could make it" Landon's blue eyes landed on me as I made my way into the large apartment.
It was slightly bigger then my apartment but not by much. This wasn't my first time in this apartment either, Joey, Sydney and I were invited for dinner when we first moved here. With all of the people crowded in the apartment it looked a lot smaller then it actually was.
"Well I only came because-"
"What the hell are you doing here?" A familiar voice rang behind me.
I knew who I would see if I turned around. What the hell is he doing here? Did he follow me home from work or something because there is no way he just so happened to come here.
"You two know each other?" Landon asked as Harry stepped next to him, facing me now.
"I don't know him" I lied. I needed to leave, but I couldn't because I had no where to go, and if Harry knew I lived next door who knows what would happen. Unless he already knows.
"That's bullshit" Harry laughed, an evil look covering his once beautiful face. His hair was so much longer now which was held back by a plaid bandana.
"Where's Joey? Does he know you're here?" Harry asked.
"That's none of your business you asshole" I spat.
"Woah guys, let's not do this. It's a party so just enjoy it" Landon stepped between the two of us, but faced Harry. He was the same height as Harry but not as build, or intimidating. "Harry just leave her alone, I'm sure theirs other girls at this party that you could fuck with, okay?"
"Fine, whatever" Harry shrugged before turning down the hallway.
I needed to leave, now. But my curiosity was getting the best of me, I needed to know why he was here and how he knew Landon.
"How do you know Harry?" I asked as I followed him into the crowded kitchen.
He grabbed two beers out of the refrigerator and handed me one. "I met him last year when he visited here, when he moved here a few weeks ago we started hanging out" he explained.
"So he doesn't know I live next door?" I asked him.
He shrugged, "hell if I know. It's possible but he's never said anything about it."
