I knew it was wrong to keep anything from Joey, but I couldn't tell him about Harry coming here. He would want us to pack up and leave, which can't happen, My life is here, Sydney's life is here, his life is here. He would want to protect us and move us across the country as the least, just to keep us away from Harry, but I knew this day would come and I knew that we would have to face him sooner or later. I just thought it would be a lot later.

"The pasta was absolutely amaing, but fucking expensive." Missy went on about her absofreakinglutely incredible date with Joey. "and the couple sitting next to us smelled like rotten milk and eggs. I was seriously about to as the waitress if we could move because they smelled so bad."

"Sounds like you had a lot of fun." I laughed slighty.

I loved Missy, even though she could be very snobby and rude at times. She was one of the sweetest yet meanest person I have ever met which was strange. She reminded me a lot of what Angie could have been if she wouldn't have had Harry in her life. I had learned that Harry was a main reason why she was such a bitch, he liked girls like that. Even when he said he didn't, and that he liked girls that were sweet and innocent, he didn't.

"I think we should go do something tomorrow," Missy flicked her dark hair off her shoulders "It's been awhile since we've done something."

"What about Sydney?"

"Joey can watch her. He doesn't have to work" she started smiling widely at me, which meant she had an idea. "We will go to a club and find you a guy."

"No." I shook my head immeditely. It had been years since I've been to a club and I had no desire to go to one.

"Oh come on, it will be fun and you need to find someone. Who was the last guy you've slept with?" she asked.

"That doesn't matter!"

"Joey. Joey was the last guy you slept with, and that was how long ago? You need to find someone who will....loosen you up." She laughed as the last few words left her red stained lips.

"Not funny" I the inside of my cheeks to prevent myself from smiling.

"It so was," she laughed "but seriously, you need to find a good guy. Someone who's not a murderer."

I knew she didn't mean anything by that but it stung. Harry and Joey were the only two guys I have ever slept with. I wasn't into the whole sleeping around with whoever I could find that night. I wanted it to be meaningful an I wanted to be with somonewho wanted more then sex. I have tried to get back out into the dating world but most guys my age don't want to be with someone who has a four year old daughter and who lives with another guy who she use to sleep with. My life is one complicated mess and most guys want something simple and meaningless.

"You can never find good guys at a club." I reminded her, she was the one who told me that after all.

"Then let's go somewhere else, like a movie?" She suggested.

"A moive? Usually that's where you go after they find a guy"

"I'm trying my best here," she groaned "it's been awhile since I've been guy hunting."

"Yeah and the last time you did you found a perfect guy who literally came up to you the second you walked through the door.' I reminded her.

The moment Missy walked into Mcdonalds, Joey had his eyes on her. Not the ideal place to meet a girl but it was very good luck on Joey's part. We had stopped to get a quick lunch before going to the store, we were going to go to Wendy's but they restaurant was taken up by a whole football team and what seemed like the rest of a highschool. Missy had come in to meet her aunt for a quick lunch but ended up going to the wrong Mcdoanlds were we just so happened to be. And to make a long story short, Joey asked for her number which she gladly gave him and they are now happily together.
