Checking my watch to make sure na hindi ako malate sa usapan namin nina Faith I decided to make a detour sa room ni Mira to check if she's coming with us to UST kasi naman she didn't give me her answer kanina during lunch break and atat na yung dalawa naming kaibigan na makilala ang tigers while Mira and I are having second thoughts.
Nakita ko siya na nakatambay sa labas ng room as she waved at me, I took that as a good sign na she's in the mood so I grinned at her. We've been friends since we were kids and we met Faith and Cassie when we were in preschool so the rest they say is history and being friends for that long we know each other too well sometimes mas kilala pa namin ang isa't isa kesa sa mga sarili namin...or is that a tad bit confusing? So as I was saying she seemed to be in a good mood as I walked towards her.
'Uhh so ano na let's go na para matapos na 'to.' I asked her with a smile then noticed the sad look in her eyes 'what's wrong Mira?'
She smiled at me and shook her heard 'wala sis I'm fine medyo emo lang.'
'Alam naming moody ka but hindi ka emo kaya you have two options. Una magsasabi ka, pangalawa...magsasabi ka.'
'At may options pa ako sa lagay na yan?'
I just nodded as I gave her a triumphant grin 'you don't have to to go thru things alone...we're here and of course your siblings are there for you.'
'What if ayoko na mag law?' She said in a sad voice 'this isn't for me...Law was never my thing. Sinunod ko lang sina mama kasi before I wasn't so sure kung ano ang gusto ko.'
'And now? Do you know what you want?'
'Yes I do...gusto ko mag Fine Arts sis and I don't know how to tell mom and dad about it. Alam ni achi and she said she'll support me. I have to talk to ahia and shoti pa about my plans.'
I hugged her and playfully pulled her hair we were now near the car park and our friends were walking towards us.
'Baliw ka talaga Mira. Tita Susan and Tito Alvin loves you and they of course will support you on whatever you choose. You just have to tell them. You're smart and we're sure you won't have any trouble adjusting.'
Faith looked at us and waved 'uhh girl talk ba tayo ngayon?'
'Malihim kasi tong si Mira ehh...so tell us what's bothering you?' Cassie said as she handed Mira and I bottles of soda'walang Gatorade sis ehh' she looked at me meaningfully.
I just stuck my tongue out at her 'care ko sa Gatorade.'
'Girls I've finally decided to shift...' Almira said as she wrapped her arms around us 'you have my back naman diba?'
'Oo naman sis basta ba course lang hindi muna schools kasi ang hirap nun for us.' Faith said as she pinched Mira's cheeks 'naks naman smile na Almira Teng.'
'We have your back sis pati front and sides pa...' Cassie said in between giggles then checked her watch 'Tara na or we'll be late ayokong maghintay si Kai...'
'Kai?!' We all said in unison and looked at a still smiling Cassie...Mukhang tinamaan na ata to kay Kim Kaizen Lo.
'Yup Kai...'
Almira shook her head 'so move on ka na kay Van Opstal?'
We all know na for the longest time she had been crushing on Von but all of a sudden she's into Kai na naman? Anyare? I made a mental note to ask Jeron about Cassie and Von later.
