If anyone would ask me why I feel like screaming my head off and there’s this part of me that absolutely would want to kill someone…then please spare me that question. I am certainly not in the mood to discuss anything. I eyed the single white rose bud on the hood of my car and found myself sighing. I would be a happy girlfriend if it was Jeric who gave it to me but imagine my disappointment when it was from my so called secret admirer…he just wouldn’t quit. If he doesn’t know that I’m already taken and very much in love ewan ko na lang kung san’ siya pinaglihi ng nanay nya or san’ ba siya nagtago these past few months. Yes you heard it right…running 3 months na rin kami ni Jeric Allen Uy Teng ang nagiisang King Tiger sa buhay ko and no it wasn’t smooth sailing as anyone would expect it to be for I still have to deal with some of his fans that were loyal to him and Holly and of course our schedules that doesn’t seem to match most of the time. Minsan tuloy naisip ko na lang to transfer school just like what Mira did but I cant bear to leave DLSU and besides Jeric and I will work things out I’m sure we will and I’m sure we can. Its not as if I was living at the other end of the world naman…we just have to compromise but at this rate when I’m doing all the understanding because of his busy schedule ang hirap lang talaga. I’m not saying I’m giving up…hell no, I wanted this. I need him in my life and I know he needs me in his even if he doesn’t really admit it much I can see it in his actions that one way or another he does need me. In between our struggles together as a couple I know there’s so much to learn and so much to know…mamaya ko na nga lang iisipin ang mga ‘yun for now girlfriend duties muna uunahin ko. I smiled at the couple of students who waved at me as I made my way to the Qpav where the King Tiger and his tigers were practicing. UAAP has started and he’s been very busy with it…I know his goal and even if I’m a loyal archer thru and thru I will still support him in his goal of bringing back the crown to UST. I’m one proud girlfriend of course.
‘hi kuya!’ I greeted the friendly kuya guard who was grinning at me from ear to ear, it pays to be nice to people an this is one of the perks, having the guards know me and hindi na hassle sa akin ang pumasok and I’m sure Jeric told kuya guard about me anyways. ‘ok na po pumasok?’
‘opo miss ganda, hinihintay na kayo ni idol jeric sa loob.’
Miss ganda? Talaga lang kuya guard ah…but I smiled at him and waved before going inside. I found myself smiling at coach pido as he waved at me and pointed at the seats behind him. My eyes scanned the court and found Jeric and the rest of his team practicing intensely…buti naman hindi pa ako banned dito knowing that UST will be facing DLSU in a basketball match pretty soon.
‘hi Oli!!’ Kevin greeted me with a grin ‘sundo ka ni cap today?’
I sat beside him and nodded ‘yup coding siya eh…hatid ko siya sa kanila then uwi na rin ako after. I have reporting pa tomorrow.’ I smiled at him then added ‘musta na kayo ng diwata mo?’
He blushed and wiped his face with a towel before answering me ‘happy…sana tuloy tuloy na. she’s weird in a good way…kayo ni cap? Busy kayo pareho diba?’
‘we find ways…BDO lang but really we try and find ways to spend time with each other despite our busy schedules. I understand him naman and I know priority niya ang basketball.’
‘swerte talaga namin to have such understanding girlfriends.’ Sabi niya ng nakangiti before going back to the court.
And before long I found a smiling Jeric Allen walking towards me holding his towel, how can a man still manage to look so damn sexy despite being drenched in sweat? Ganyan kalakas ang appeal ng isang Jeric Teng. I smiled at him as I got his towel and wiped his sweaty face as soon as he sat beside me.
