Part 4: Sleeping Beauty (Jin)

"But if I know you, I know what you'll do . . ."

The young redhead ran out of the cottage, tears running down her face as she ran in a random direction. Falling to her knees as she reached the small creek by the edge of the forest. She buried her face in her hands, letting the tears run down her freckled cheeks, she couldn't help but cry.

Yoongi had yelled at her in the past, but never to that extreme. He had never scared her before. She didn't even know why she was so scared, she knew that he wouldn't hit her but . . . . she couldn't help but feel like he would have if she had stayed any longer.

After what seemed like forever, a soft voice from behind her spoke, startling her, "Eva."

Evangeline snapped her head to the direction of the voice, it was Jimin. His chocolate brown eyes shined with concern and understanding as he looked down at her. Evangeline's gaze dropped to the floor as he stared. Jimin quietly made his way over and sat down next to the young red head, his arms wrapping around her as she broke down again. He rubbed her back, resting his chin on her head just letting her cry into his chest.

They sat on the ground in silence until Evangeline calmed down enough to talk. Jimin pulled away slightly, using his hand to wipe away the tears from her cheeks before speaking, "You alright Eva?"

"Yeah", was her shaky reply.

"Yoongi didn't mean to make you cry, he's just worried", Jimin ran his hand through Evangeline's hair, "He doesn't want you to get hurt, and the fact that someone found you and we don't even know who well . . . it's scary. We are supposed to keep you safe, your parents asked us to do this, we just want to keep our promise to them."

Evangeline was shocked. They knew who her parents were. She had figured out a long time ago that they weren't related to her in anyway, though she never knew that they knew who her parents really were.

"You know who my parents are?"

Jimin's face was immediately taken over by terror once he realized his mistake.
He had just made a huge mistake, he wasn't supposed to tell her. None of them were. Evangeline's parents had asked for them to keep it a secret, they believed it would be safer that way. Now she knew, now she would want to know more. Now they would have to tell her.

Jimin hesitated, "Y-y-yes, I do. All of us know."

"And you didn't tell me?!", Evangeline yelled pulling away from him, she was pissed.

"We promised them we wouldn't, but Eva w-", Jimin knew she would be mad, she had inherited some of Yoongi's temper from growing up with him.

Evangeline stood so she was towering over the blonde man, "Don't Eva me!! You all knew and yet no one told me! I don't care if you promised them, they're my parents!!" Evangeline turned on her heel, heading back towards the house. She was going to get answers, she was going to find out who they are.

I'm so sorry!! It's been forever! I've been so busy lately that I haven't been able to update 😫. Hopeful I'll be able to update more often, though I have no clue if I can.
Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying the story so far. I'll try to update soon.
