"But who cares? No big deal, I want more . . ."
"Ugh, why did I even agree to this?", Hoseok asked himself quietly as he walked down the long corridor towards the ballroom, in hopes of finding Jimin.
The day before Sofie had told him that she wanted to meet the prince, now J-Hope was searching the castle for the man that became one of his closest friends. 'I wonder how he will react to her, if he is even able to meet her, knowing his father', Hoseok thought as he pushed open the engraved doors to the ballroom.
Soft piano music was heard as Hoseok entered the room, looking around for the prince, spotting him near the middle of the room. Jimin had his eyes closed as he let the music take over his body; moving to the rhythm, twisting and turning as he swayed, his limbs looking more like water rather than flesh and bone. Hoseok and Jimin had always been dancer, when they had been younger Jimin would sneak out to visit J-Hope so they could dance. Though Hoseok's movements were much more rigid than the prince's, they were still considered to be on par with each other as the best dancers in the kingdom.
Clearing his throat to get Jimin's attenuation, J-Hope walked further into the ballroom. Jimin opened his brown eyes, smiling as he sees J-Hope walking his way.
"J-Hope! What are you doing here? I thought it was your day off", the prince inquired confused.
"It is, but I needed to find you."
"Really? Why?", Jimin asked confused as to why J-Hope would need him on his day off.
"Well ... there's this friend of mine. She wants to meet you."
"Oh? Well where is she?", he asked looking around only to see that there was only him, Hoseok, and the piano player who was currently leaving the ballroom, to let them talk in private.
"She can't exactly meet you here, she wants to meet down by the shore. In a little cove under the cliff who usually go to. Will you meet with her?", Hoseok tried explaining without giving away too much. He didn't want to ruin Sofie's chance of meeting Jimin, and she also wanted to tell him herself.
Jimin was silent for a moment as he thought to himself, 'Why can't she meet here? Maybe she feels uncomfortable meeting in such a big place. Should I go? I mean ... if I go with Hopie to meet this person, I could get away from my father and this party for awhile.' Finally making up his mind, Jimin looked back up to face Hoseok.
"Alright, when does she want to meet?"
"Well we can go now if you want, this is around the time me and her usually meet", J-Hope sighed, relieved that Jimin had agreed to meet Sofie.
"Okay, then let's get going before my father calls for me", the prince said speed walking out of the ballroom, towards the front entrance with Hoseok close behind.
They walked for about 20 minutes before reaching the cliff, Hoseok showed Jimin the way down to the cove from the cliff. Slowly they lowered themselves towards the shore, when their feet touched the sand of the beach, J-Hope lead the prince to the cove to wait for Sofie's to arrive.
"Hopie? Where is she?", Jimin asked while scanning the beach for another person.
"She's over there", Hoseok's pointed towards a rock a little ways into the water but still in the cove. Only her upper half was out of the water, her braided black hair falling onto her shoulder. She started at Jimin with wide eyes, her mouth ever so slightly hanging open. The prince started back with close to the expression. He had never seen a more beautiful woman before, Wow, she looks amazing', these were the only word going through his head while looking at her.
J-Hope watched the two stare at each other in a amusement, 'Gez, they look as though they just saw the most amazing thing in the world. Well, it probably is for them.' Deciding to give them some privacy, Hoseok quietly slipped away from the couple, making his way back to his home in the village.
Snapping out of his trance and realizing J-Hope was gone, Jimin rolled up his pants and waded out into the water. When he reached the rock the woman lay on, she slipped a little further into the water upon seeing him up close for the first time.
"Hoseok said you wanted to meet with me but ... he never told me your name", the prince stated, climbing onto the rock and sitting in front of the beautiful woman.
After a moment of silence the woman answered in a soft voice, much like the lapping off the water on the shore or a gentle breeze running through the silent air.
"Sofie."
"That's a beautiful name", Jimin told Sofie as a small smile graced his lips.
Unknown to the prince, Sofie had a full fledged war raging in her. Not knowing if she should tell him now or wait, she wanted so badly to tell him what she was but she wasn't sure of how he would react. If he would run and tell more, putting not only her life in danger but the lives of many others including the King himself. Is if he would stay and try to learn more about her people, like she was trying to do with his. 'I should wait, I just meet him if I tell him now who knows what he'd do', Sofia finally decided after much inner turmoil, focusing her attention back on the prince in hopes of learning more she did not know about him.
