"No matter how your heart is grieving . . ."
The beautiful young blond turned and made her way out of the prince's sight, leaving him with his guards who began to usher him towards the castle. Sighing, Hoseok continues towards the castle just to please his guards. Deciding not to make their job any more difficult than it already is. It wasn't that far of a walk to the entrance of the castle, so it only took a few moments before they were walking into the large wooden doors at the top of the large stairway. The guards dispersed throughout the castle after they had walked the prince to his room, leaving him to think about the events at the plaza.
The young man sighed as he fell down onto his bed, his entire body relaxing as his back hit the soft material. Hoseok enjoyed walking around the town, meeting new people and saying hello to the people of his kingdom, but he would prefer to do so alone. He always hated having the guards surrounding him all the time. That's one of the reasons he liked reading in the gardens of the castle, he could be alone for a moment, it was quite and relaxing. Though at the moment, he couldn't stop thinking about the woman from the plaza.
'I want you to go? Great. Now you look like a creep. You just couldn't keep your cool could you? Just because she was pretty', Hoseok flung himself into a sitting position, his elbows resting on his knees as his hand ran over his face. Sighing once again, the prince looks across the room into his full body mirror then says, "Well, she was more than pretty. She was beautiful, probably the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my entire life."
Then out of nowhere, a deep voice from behind the prince chuckled and said, "She was quite spectacular, wasn't she?"
This caused Hoseok to jump from the new perence, making him snap his body around to look at the person.
There standing on the other side of the king sized bed was a tall tanned man. He was wearing a pair of black pants and shiny black shoes, with a dark blue suit jacket over a pure white turtleneck. His hair was a dirty blond color that contrast nicely with his deep brown eyes and calm aura that surrounded him.
At the sight of the man Hoseok slumped back into his bed and let himself breath again, "Please don't scare me like that ever again. I was going to call the guards."
The man just smiled at the prince, his dimples penetrating his cheeks deeply, "That would have been bad, since they can't see me. Only you can."
"Right. I forget that sometimes, why is that anyway?"
"Because I'm your fairy godfather, not theirs."
"I guess that makes sense, why are you here though Namjoon?", Hoseok asked as he turned to face the man.
Namjoon sat on the edge of the prince's large bed, "I wanted to tell you that the ball isn't such a bad thing. It will be a lot better than you think it will."
Hoseok's eyes got a bit bigger as he looked at the tall man sitting next to him, "What do you mean?! It's a ball so my dad can find a bride for me, how is that not bad? I want to find someone on my own, I want to get to know them on my own time. I don't want to rush things, but that's exactly what this ball is going to do. How is that not bad?"
The fairy godfather just smiled down at the man beside him, " I know you don't want to rush things, but you will find someone at the ball tomorrow."
This startled the young man, causing him to jump up into a sitting position, "What?! How do you know?!"
Laughing, Namjoon simply said, "I just do, and you need to trust me. You need to go to the ball, you'll regret it if you don't". Then before Hoseok could ask anything more, the fairy godfather was gone without a trace.
The prince could only sit there and repeat what his godfather had said to him over and over again. 'What does he mean? I'll actually find someone at the ball? There's no way, I couldn't possibly find someone.'
The young prince lauded back down into his sheets as he thought back to the woman in the plaza. He thought she was beautiful, she seemed interesting when he talked to her. There was only one problem. Hoseok couldn't understand why she had called him majesty when she left. She seemed to have gotten really tense when I mentioned her home, 'I wonder if Jeanne is okay.'
Before Hoseok could ponder further on the young woman, a knock on his bedroom door interrupted his thoughts, 'How many times am I going to be disrupted today?' The prince stood from his bed, strained his clothing and fixed his hair in the mirror before saying they could come in.
Standing at the door was the grand duke and good friend of the young prince, Taehyung. The long haired man smiled at Hoseok, "It's time to try on your suit for the ball tomorrow."
