Chapter 10

You awoke that morning with puffy eyes, and your heart feeling broken. It took you a moment to remember where you were, meanwhile your phone was ringing in the background. After you determined you were home, you answered the phone.

(b/f) yelled into the phone,"You had me worried! I called you like six times!!". You checked your phone, and saw you had only missed one call from them. You cracked a tired smile, it was naturally in (b/f)'s personality to exaggerate things. You said,"Sorry..", and (b/f) felt guilty hearing your depressed voice. They said more gently now,"Hey, what happened yesterday? It's okay if you still don't want to talk about it..". You whimpered, and said,"No, it's ok.. It's just that.. It's so hard to speak through the phone about this. Can you come over?". (b/f) immediately dropped what they were doing, and said without hesitation,"Yes, yes I'll be over in five". You hanged up, and dropped your phone.

You didn't really have the energy to change, so you stayed in your pajamas and left your hair in a rat's nest. Your mother wasn't home, she was out working; you were alone at home. You went to the living room, and plopped down in one of the couches. You grabbed the control, and switched on the TV; if only to distract yourself from yesterday. The channel you happened to stumble by was the news channel.

They were on the celebrities section, and the woman shined her pearly whites, saying,"Hannah, have you heard about how BTS idol Park Jimin is trending on Twitter?". The other woman, apparently Hannah, smiled with fake enthusiasm saying,"No, but can you inform me Chelsea?". The woman, Chelsea, said,"Certainly", she turned to look at the camera,"Yesterday during BTS's perfomance, many fans noticed that singer Park Jimin was behaving a bit strangely. He stole many, as they are called, A. R. M. Y's hearts with that wink and sweet smile he wore. Here is a video that one fan sent to us through our submissions". They showed the video, and your eyes widened seeing Jimin appear on your TV. You couldn't handle seeing him right now, so you instantly turn off your TV; (b/f) arrived that instant.

They knocked on the door, and you went to open the door. They hugged you, and said,"Hey, how are you?" as they took off their shoes. You said,"I'm.. I'm fi-- I'm okay". They nodded solemnly, and said,"Alright, what happened? You rushed out of there like if your mom was chasing you with a chancla, and you even cried!". You took a deep breath, and started to bawl as everything came rushing out of you.

You whimpered,"He hugged me after you left.. I hugged him back, and we stood there for a while. Jimin eventually let me go, and he looked like he was going to kiss me..!". You stopped, as you had to wipe away the blurry tears clouding your vision. You took a deep breath, and continued,"He looked so conflicted, as if he wanted to kiss me, but at the same time hesitating! The worst thing was that.. both of us shared that hesitation... I so badly wanted to kiss him, but he probably already found his soulmate. Who am I to steal a soulmate from one another?! He let me go, and turned away from me, and basically rejected me!".

(b/f) gasped, and they immediately smothered you to them. You let them, in other circumstances you would have complained. You continued bawling into their shirt, and you whispered,"I'm sorry that I'm ruining your shirt with my tears..". They chuckled, and said,"That should be the least of your worries, just forget about it".

(b/f) continued to hug you, and you said,"I just don't get it.. I wanted Jimin's love so bad, but I couldn't handle it in the end". They stroked your hair, and said,"(y/n).. forget about it for now". You cried until you couldn't cry anymore, and (b/f) said,"Come on, let's have a night in! Let me just go to the store to buy some ice cream, and we're good to go.. (favorite ice cream flavor), right?". You gave them a watery smile, and nodded. You said,"I'll set up a movie while you're out".
