All was quiet in the lair. Patrol was over and everyone was asleep. Or so they all thought. The four Hamato boys crept out of their rooms and made their way to the living room. Once they'd all gathered, Leo began to speak. "Do you all have them?" He inquired. The other three nodded and held out their hands to prove it. Leo nodded. "This is big, guys." He said simply. "A little too big, for me." Mikey said, placing a hand on the spot where his heart was beating rapidly. "I'm kinda scared."
Donnie placed a hand on his younger brother's shoulder. "It's gonna be okay, Mikey. This will go by smoothly." He said. Raph scoffed. "Yeah, but that doesn't soothe my doubts." "Everything will go by smoothly." Leo said, putting emphasis on the word everything. "I assure you all. Now go to sleep before the girls or Splinter wake up. The last thing we want is them knowing about this."
And with that, the boys parted, going to their room in hope that sleep would come for them.
