32. First Steps

Leonardo
Leo and Olivia sat on the couch, allowing Carter to crawl around on the floor while they supervised. It was a gift to see the oldest child in the Hamato clan grow up. Olivia brushed a strand of her braid out of her hair as Carter went over to play with the building blocks set out for him. "He's already so art. And he hasn't even began to talk yet!" Olivia cheered as she watched him stack the blocks. "It's a magical thing to see a child grow. Now I know why Sensei was always so proud of us." Leo agreed. Carter turned to them, grinning widely. Slowly, he began to stand up, using his oversized plus his as support. Leo and Liv's eyes grey wide. "Is he actually gonna..." "I think he is!"

Carter giggled and began to take amateur, wabbly steps toward his parents. Leo and Olivia slipped off of the couch and got on their knees, motioning for Carter to walk to them. He giggles, clapping a little before he half walked half tripped into Leo's arms. "THAT'S MY BOY!" He cheered, kissing Carter on the forehead. Olivia hugged both of them, a smile on her face.

Raphael
Raph sat on the bed, playing Peekaboo with Yuko, who sat on the floor. Scar sat beside Raph trying not to laugh at how ridiculous he looked making those faces. Yuko giggled loudly and clapped. Raph stopped making faces and just gazed at his daughter as she smiled. "She has your radiant smile." Raph told Scar. Scar blushed and lightly shoved Raph. "Stop it, you flatterer!" She said. Raph chuckled and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, gazing into her eyes. Scar gazes right back. But suddenly, something caught her eye. Her gaze shifted to where her daughter now stood, gazing goofily at her parents. "Raph," Scar began. "Raph, Yuko is standing up." He turned and gasped at his baby. She giggled. Scar got on her knees and motioned for Yuko to come to her. Yuko began walking in jer mother's direction, but then, with no warning, she dashed out the door. "She can run too?!?!" Raph exclaimed.

Donatello
Hannah sat in the lab and played with Dani while Donnie worked on some new invention. Dani giggled as Hannah stuck out her tongue and made a silly face. Donnie looked over and smiled. Hannah smiled back and handed Dani her stuffed unicorn. She giggled and clutched it close. Donnie got up and walked to the cabinet before walking back to his desk. Dani watched him intently then looked at her own two feet.

Slowly, she began to stand up, holding her hands out for balance. Hannah's eyes widened. "Donnie, look..." Donnie looked over at them and his eyes widened. Dani caught his gaze and grinned. Then, taking sloppy untrained steps, she walked over to him. He got out of his chair and grinned, holding out his arms and catching her before she feel. "My little Explorer! You did it!" He cheered. Dani giggled and clapped. Hannah could help but let a few tears slip at the sight.

Michelangelo
Mikey and Faith had just got finished bathing the twins and they sat them down to play while they watched. Mikey laid his head on Faith's lap, smiling contently as he watched their children play with their toys. "They're so adorable..." Mikey said. "They get its from their father." Faith smiled. "And their mother too." Mikey responded, kissing Faith on the nose before resuming his previous position.

Suddenly, Aaron began to struggle to stand up. Faith and Mikey shot upward. Aaron began to tumble over, But, Sarina held his feet to steady him. Aaron giggled and in turn helped Sarina up and together they began to walk around the room. Faith and Mikey slowly turned to each other, wide grind on their faces. "OUR BABIES CAN WALK!!!!!!
