The Rise of the Shadows

Chapter 2

"Alright so we need to figure a way out of this city unharmed, but how we are surrounded by shadows?"said Doc.

 "It would be great to cause a distraction across town,but what would we use?"said Tim. "I have a idea that might work but you might not like it Tim," I said.

"Anything to get us out of here and head back to our camp out of New York" said Tim. 

"Alright, I need you to find a RC car and a dead animal that has not been touched by the shadows," I said. 

"What are thinking? Are you trying to get us out of here or get us some kind of illness from a dead animal?"said Doc. 

"I think I see of  where Evan is going" said Felicity . "

"I am not trying to get anyone killed by some other illness, we already have our hands filled with the shadows. The way my idea will work is that the body of the animal will not cause a distraction on its own, but with a RC car moving it the animal will look alive. The shadows will chase after it" I said. 

"I like this idea and I am all in for it" said Tim. 

"I agree with Tim lets do this" said Felicity. 

"HOLD IT! I do not like this idea and I forbid it. We need to think of something else, besides where are we gonna find a RC car?" said Doc.

 "I already found what we need.  There was a dead cat outside by the garbage can and we are inside a toy store with the windows barricaded Doc," said Tim barely containing his laughter.

 "Alright let me do some adjustments to the RC car and the cat and we should be good" I said. I moved the cat's legs to cover the wheels, so the animal would looks like its running.  I covered the RC car with an orange paint that matches the cat's fur. "Its all set and ready to go" I said.

 "Alright lets get this plan rolling" said Tim while grabbing the RC car.

 "I don't think so Tim" said Doc with a Gun pointed right at Tim. " You are not doing anything with that because I am the boss here and I say we do something else!"

"Doc calm down we don't have to get violent," said  Felicity. 

"Its too late for that! It's time to make a example," Doc said in a cold, harsh voices as he cocked the gun. I charged towards Doc knocking the gun out of his hands. Tim picked up the gun and then helped me tie Doc to a iron bar. Together we made sure there wouldn't be anymore surprises from Doc.

 "LET ME GO!" said seethed Doc. 

"You are staying right here until we say so,"I said. 

"We better do this soon! All that noise you two made is attracting some shadows and they look... well they look the same," said Felicity.
