I drew this one to go with my "Fay Rising Fan Song" post in An Author's Adventure. It was definitely a nostalgic experience! It sure takes me back...hahaha, saying stuff like that makes me sound ancient, doesn't it? Anyway, I will admit that I really enjoyed drawing this one. Sometimes it's nice to just sit down and draw, where you know that (this time, at least) you're actually able to put the image in your head on paper.
For those who don't know, this is fanart for the two main characters of @Allymp3 's now-deleted book Fay Rising: twin sisters Willow and Katara. You can go see original drawings of them in Allymp3's book, My Art. If you like my fan drawing, you'll love the original ones!
Any other Fay Fans in the crowd here? What do you think of my rendition of these two? This isn't the first time I've drawn them, but it is the closest to the original story so far. I tried to incorporate elements that would remind people of it. I think it turned out pretty well.
