I was checking the works on my profile when I noticed something that I found very surprising. Something that made me do more than a few double-takes.
My Art has reached 1,000 views.
I'm speechless. I honestly still can't believe it. I'm still shocked, even as I'm typing this. That little 1k in the corner is really there! On my book! For a simple collection of drawings, no less!
The second I saw that, I dropped everything to go make a thank-you picture right away. I mean, part of it is my being a new author here on Wattpad, but still! Think about it.
One THOUSAND people have read this and looked at my art. People with heartbeats and faces and feelings and LIVES! People that MATTER! People who took even just a little time out of their day to view the art of someone who's honestly only just getting started.
I just...thank you so much! This is really, truly amazing to me. Like, just thinking about all those people...wow.
I am so thankful that my drawings here have brought happiness to others, even if it's just a little bit. And I'm so excited, now more than ever, to keep on going! One drawing and post at a time.
I want you all to know that I am truly grateful for each and every one of you, and the support you've shown. Perhaps it's a bit cliché to go on and on about all of this, but I can't NOT show my gratitude! And since you all have been so amazing thus far, it's only natural that I return the favor.
By not giving up on my dreams.
