I drew this a while ago, and I was going to wait until I was able to color it before posting, but I never got around to it—which is a shame, because I really like how this one turned out. I decided to post it anyway because, A) I love it, and B) It happened to go really well with my "Random Poem" post in An Author's Adventure.

As mentioned in this post's title, this fanart has to do with Sandcat- 's novel Iron God, specifically the chapters "Grave Mistake" and "Trapped" in the third part. The imagery was really powerful, and I just couldn't help myself.

I've drawn this character before, but I think I did a better job with the clothing this time. For the previous instance, from the post where I drew fanart inspired by Pentatonix's "White Winter Hymnal", I just drew a plain shirt with a chain mail vest and a helmet. I think this round has more detail. I actually feel really bad for her; she's really upset in this scene...

What about you? Do you have any thoughts on this batch of fanart? Feel free to let me know!

Thanks for reading, and see you next time!
