Isn't it pretty? I think I was able to do the ruffles on the tutu a little bit better this time! And that's saying something, because the folds of the skirt were even more challenging due to the pose. But I think it turned out great!
I especially like her long, flowing hair and the ethereal ballet slippers—that was actually the main inspiration for this drawing. Instead of the ribbons being tied up like normal, they're swirling around her ankles, tangling in a graceful spiral. And instead of being a solid color, the red fades out in a gradient.
But what about the dark title? Honestly...it just popped into my head...maybe because I drew her in a red outfit? I'm not really sure. But the name did inspire similar drawings, so I'll be showing them to you very soon!
