66 { Dinner }

Cassandra

I sat down across from Nicholas and he put Aiden next to him.

We were at a buffet. Best place to eat. UNLIMITED FOOD!! I love my Nicky so much.

"So babe, what did you want to talk about?" I asked him since he told me he wanted to talk about something.

"Well .. today after we got the results, you wasn't as .. excited as I was. And this was a day we couldn't wait to come. And to see your reation today kinda caught me off guard. I just wanted to know why you was looking like that." He explained and I looked at Aiden and nodded.

This is my time.. This is my time to tell him the truth.

"Well .. I just .." I started. I tried getting it out but something was telling me not to

Reading her facial expression right now, I can tell something is up. She never acted like this or anything.

"Take your time," I said touching her hand.

She sighed and then said, "I was acting that way because .. now finding out the gender and everything , its showing me how close I am to delivering. And knowing Aiden , when the baby gets more of my attention , he's going to feel some type of way and want to go by Jacquees." She said tearing up a little.

I laughed a little getting up sitting next to her and wiped her tears.

"Baby he isn't going to act that way. I promise. Right Aiden? Are you ready to meet your little sister?" I asked him

He looked at us and nodded. "I won't be mean mommy." He said kissing Cassandra's cheek.

I laughed. "See? You have nothing to worry about." I said kissing her forehead.

"Thanks guys." She said sniffing. I got back up sitting back in my chair.

"Now that, that conversation is gone, let's talk about a baby shower." I said and Cassandra giggled.

I know she can't wait to reveal to everyone the gender of the baby. No one knows except my brother and Cass probably told Gabby.

All I'm worried about is finally meeting my daughter and keeping a smile on my family's faces.

I wish I did though because this is just putting me into a deeper hole.

Nicholas is sitting here talking about things we're going to do for the baby shower, how we're going to reveal the gender, and how the future will be when the baby comes

He's so excited and can't wait to meet the baby. But the baby probably not his.

Uggh, why did this have to happen to meee???
